Previously: >Not sure what private trackers are all about? The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.
Remember the following: >Staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before. >This is a thread for educational purposes only. Don't offer or ask for invites. >Staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers.
>having friends (plural) and living life in peace has to be something wrong with you if you can't even choose friends with a similar outlook. or maybe that's the problem, all the people you've had as friends have been just like you and it's been constant bickering. a smart man with an ounce of self-awareness would realise this and change those negative aspects of himself and attract good friends.
the irony his that /ptg/ is undermining the social and community aspects of trackers while maintaining a general here with no regulation. cognitive dissonance lads?

a gazelle book tracker is the stuff of nightmares. BIB works fine and looks better than any gazelle implementation. The one useful feature of gazelle, grouping, is hardly necessary on an ebook tracker.

I favor helping newbs know exactly how to get to the tracker they want, by telling them who recruits where and strats to get there. I think the rule that you can only invite IRL friends is retarded. I also believe obfuscation of clear paths to climb only encourage newbs to go to invite trading/selling websites and this place of all places actually stifles that encouragement.
But by doing it, encouraging it, is a bannable offense. No thanks pal, I'll proudly be user.
this sums the entire discussion, now i'm going to sleep. good night based user

>No thanks So you are afraid of speaking out, which makes you a cuck, which makes it ridiculous that you call others cuck. Projecting harder than a SRX-R800.
>So you are afraid of speaking out, Not him This is 2018, anyone with a 500 dollar laptop and an account can speak. The real question is who speaks and who get heads.

Or nah. I'm fine with your cuckoldry, just pointing out the absurdity of you using the word against other people when it applies to you.

Not afraid, just not stupid to give up a valuable resource to wave manly e-peen. Grow up, no one here is that stupid.

Guess THC is running so low on funds they decided to open signups.

That's pretty great because they're a cool tracker. I recommend all anons get into THC as soon as they can.

Ever since 312c's absence from staff of PTP the site and tracker have been experiencing issues. To name a few, the tracker has been down much more frequently, and the website itself was down for over 3 days (internal server error). I fear that without 312c's expertise in keeping PTP running, it will not be around much longer.
Below is a poll, I am curious to see what members of this forum think.
