oh, sorry, I didn't notice you there. what were you saying again?
idk. dells 1920x1200 monitors are good enough for me
High class!
WITH AS MANY BELLS AND FUCKING WHISTLES THAT BENEFIT ME IN NO WAY
With a proper panel, no fan noise instead of shitty ROG LEDs.
Real talk though.
1440p
144hz
IPS
27" +
whats the best one
With the least amount of input lag. Something with a reasonable refresh rate. Doesn't matter if it's only 1080p. Around 27 inch I suppose.
With enough inputs to satisfy me, display port and hdmi
That's all I'm asking to be honest.
WIDE THICC AND ABLE TO GO DEEP ON DEM HZ GURL
Do want: Acer Predator X34P
Anyone ever use one, or own one? Thoughts?
Xb271hu
just fuck my shit up senpai
Fraud for me. I want real 4K and 100+ Hz. I would even spend 1200 € for a perfect one.
These ultrawides are 75 % of the pixels for 100 % the price.
I wish they made a proper 4K120. Full colors, HDR is useless anyway. Around 32" would be also nice.
4k 144hz 27" under 1k$
stupid red feet
Nah, the X34P has these specs:
120Hz, Curved IPS 1900R, 3440 x 1440, NVIDIA G-SYNC, 4-port USB 3.0 hub, $1000 USD.
Pic related.
For true 4K I'd get the largest Wasabi Mango, think it's a 50something inch.

34" btw
Black like my women
This. 550 on sale.
VESA mountable too.
1440p
144hz
VA panel (with 400+ nit brightness)
27"
Not curved
I'm just fine with an 1280x800 60hz LED
I'd take a VA panel version if it has decent brightness levels and if possible HDR support.
21:9
Yes but I'm getting a wall mount anyway
120 Hz sure?
Still no 4K. Just 1440p UW.
1440p
144hz
IPS
Low response times
something that looks respectable and not GAYMURR RGB shit
>120 Hz sure?
Yep, over DisplayPort. I like the UW for FPS, allows a great FOV. newegg.com
Here's the 4K version, but it's only 27"

More options if you raise the response time

>12-bit HDR
>600 nit
>DCI-P3, Adobe RGB
>120Hz variable
>16:10
>350 PPI minimum
>on a 15 inch MacBook
I think this is somewhat reasonable.
>fan noise
Monitors have fans now?
but then it wouldnt work.
dual 22in 1920x1200 monitors, IPS not necessary.
>now
they always have had fans
The high end ones do. 4K, 100+HZ, HDR, etc. requires a lot of energy.
The Dell gsync one
The asus freesync one
Samsung cf791
1440p/144Hz/IPS is literally magical.
>Buying 16:9, let alone 16:10, in 2018+7/12
16:10 > 4:3 > shit > 16:9 >>> "21:9"
1:1 is a literal meme
>"21:9"
Shit's comfy, desu. Bonus points when rotated 90 degrees.
What the hell is the ROG logo even supposed to be? Some sort of eye? Genuinely one of the ugliest logos I've seen.
4:3, 144hz, Gsync, 1ms
Doesn't exist.
1440p/4k
120hz+
32"
16:9

freesynch
closest i found was a viotec GN32Q which has it all bar ips
and pcpartpicker.com
just get an x34. cheaper and does 100hz
The X27 is the shittiest and most overpriced screen of all times. It costs around 2500 € and offers a loud fan, color compression (if you want to use the 144 Hz) and horrible bleeding and manufacturing faults (Like dust inside the panel).
I hope someone brings a 120 Hz screen for around 1000 € soon. Fuck HDR, who needs that. I just want Hz and native 4K.
24" WQUXGA OLED panel
It's an X34P, not X27. I don't care if a fan is going, I wear headphones. Cost is $1000, look at the link.
>loud fan
since when do monitors have fans?
this
>the 34UC79G-B is nearly $900 in leaf land
I hate living here
>that'll be $5695 + tip sir
Holy shit I didn't know there were any WQUXGA monitors other than the IBM T220 and T221
but the one he posted is only 1080
>the joke
>your head
Well that's disappointing
my boats the same, australia.
120 Hz
4K
60''
Affordable
>:^)
I meant the 27". And no for 2500 € I would expect it to be absolutely flawless. The lower priced models are all good. I have the XB321HK, no bleed, no issues.
I don't think OLED will make a breakthrough with PC monitors. The jump from TN to IPS was already barely noticeable, and OLED has downsides.
I want a modern version of my FG2421 with GSYNC and 1440p on 24".
It has a driver that inserts a black frame into the 120hz signal pushing it up to 240hz. Not just backlight strobing but the whole panel goes black every other frame.
There is no display on the market any more that does that afaik.
This is one area where televisions surpass monitors, the Sony X900F can push 1440p@120hz/4:4:4 and blinks at 240hz in 120hz mode which btfos most gaming monitors.
The 850F can do this as well but it's an IPS panel so slightly slower transitions, they both have very low input lag once you send in a nonstandard signal rtings says 13ms so basically imperceptible.
With extra rare earth metals, please.
>put jet engine in the base
>turn on monitor
>flys away
fuck
9/10
>-1 because the sticker trigged my autism
Ill attest to this, saved me 500 NZD for basically the exact same specs outside a bigger meme curve and 20 hz.
without blue and red subpixel borders on light areas, why do lcds do this?
XBR-49X900F is end game LCD tech, Sony should be making monitors there is so much garbage out there.
LCD is trash by default
After getting used to ultra wide 21:9 16:10 16:9 feel like 4:3 5:4
no u
Is there a better/cheaper smart tv? I'm thinking of buying the 32 inch 1080p from Samsung UN32J5500 for $300. Just wanna watch movies on Netflix hulu plus and youtube. Should I be looking at any other specs besides resolution if I just wanna watch movies on a 32 inch tv?
Tfw you have to pawn your car to be able to afford modern dell 16:10 monitors
32 inch 1440 is comfy
TN please
I don't pretend to be creative I just want to play CSGO and seej
