I just want a X220 with a Ryzen APU with 4c/8t and quad channel @ > 2933 MT/s
1080p IPS screen at a minimum

The quad channel would never happen but its ok to dream I guess.

>gentoo/arch switch
Top kek, if I had the money I'd make a prototype of this

It MUST be fanless. Deal with it.

>Threadripper
>All usb
>Comes with gentoo usb stick
>Ethernet and wifi
>Bluetooth
>buckling spring keyboard
>nvme disks only
>Removable battery
>fanless
>???

>>fanless
How about a couple of 24V 80mm Delta Fans, for maximum loudness.

>threadripper
>fanless
i-is this bait senpai

a comfy 12 or 13-inch lappy powered by RISC-V! uwu

I would buy the shit out of that. Wouldn't use as a daily driver, but that thing looks like a fun piece of tech.

Nooo. Too expensive, I'm not ready to migrate from my 1TB HDD.

I like it. Do you know its model or a name?

It's a HP WAN/T1 Internet Advisor J2301B

>that envy

Just put an 8 core ryzen in it and it would be perfect

it´s a laptop designed for control and programming of Programmable logic controllers (that machines in manufacturing processes, such as assembly lines).

60% mechanical keyboard (pok3r layout)
trackpoint and NO trackpad
free hardware/firmware/software
risc-v

These are what I want most. The rest I can deal with whatever. USB C charging and thunderbolt 3 ports might be nice.

Oh, and a docking port would be great

This is what I came here to say. Literally unusable.

Hear me out: a Surface Pro with a GTX 1050 for a reasonable price

>14 inch laptop
>thick abs nintendo plastic chassis with titanium-alloy support frame and rubberized polyurethane coating
>durable matte screen
>heavy duty model m style buckling spring keyboard with nipple mouse nub
>isolated drainage channels for spill resistance
>no trackpad, just the mouse buttons and nub
>powered by a raspberry pi, cell phone, or any other decently fast small SoC you decide to put inside it

P much this but I'd like a trackpad as well as a trackpoint.

If it can run Vi, I'm good.
It still needs a docking station though.
