How to browse the fucking internet: >install Waterfox >use searx.me as your default search engine >configure it, keep only Web/Images/Videos, only use google and qwant as the metasearch options as for extensions >Install uMatrix and uBlockorigin (update lists) >Install self destructing cookies >Install random agent spoofer (KNOW HOW TO CONFIGURE IT) >Install HTTPs everywhere >proceed to shitpost to your heart's desire
That's it, that's literally it, this is all it fucking takes to have a relatively bloatfree and botnet browsing experience. The browser and the extensions are all lightweight and open source.
can we stop shitposting about browsers forever now?
>Waterfox >botnet free browsing experience ...I've got bad news for you buddy
Jaxson Taylor
You are so fucking retarded, i wish you were less retarded. It's an open source software and it's configured by default to not use any mozilla or google phonehomes, except googlemalwarecheck which you turn it off in about::config or random agent spoofer
think before you post
It's a matter of choice, those are the only 2 acceptable browsers.
Dylan Gomez
Or you could just stop visiting shitty piracy websites
Ryder Watson
>completely cleaned from spyware distro forked into absolute botnet fucking disgusting
Luke Taylor
what about my hundreds of bookmarks? how do you sync them?
Nathaniel Edwards
if you dont mind the botnet this is very comfy. doesnt run like complete shit on my garbage laptop (some toshiba satellite bargain bin shit, normal linux (minimal arch with i3) runs a lot worse.) and im actually considering buying a "real" chromebook for the insane battery life
normal linux shit/development is possible too via crostini, crouton or shit like cloudready

>having bookmarks

> >Install HTTPs everywhere lol yeah an extension that uses 200+mb ram to sometimes put an 's' in yr urls sounds great
Jonathan Adams
know a lighter solution? putting 2 in the header everytime would work, but doing it for every site you are visiting or being redirected to would be a pain to keep up with.
OP put random agent spoofer on that list exactly to fuck with user agent detectors

>Waterfox Bait. >Starting up Waterfox for the first time will make 109 requests to several spyware platforms most notably Google Analytics >Firefox supports 64-bit systems now >I only use Waterfox because it's more obscure so I feel cooler spyware.neocities.org/articles/waterfox.html >Random Agent Spoofer This doesn't do anything but make you stick out more in a really weird way. There's many many other ways to fingerprint a browser.
Install Tor browser if you want to resist fingerprinting, install Firefox with your choice of Gorhill addons with HTTPS Everywhere and Decentraleyes with an optional User.js from FFProfile, or for more hardening Ghacks/Pyllyukko User.js.
