Time to sell my 8400 and get a 9600

Time to sell my i5 2500k and get an i7 2600k

Time to sell my 6600k and get a 6700k

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Tell me they at least have hardware fixes for the bugs?

Are these the exact same silicon binned slightly better with higher default / boost clockspeeds?

Jesus Christ Intel, why even bother launching a 9XXX series instead of adding more 8XXX SKUs?

Oh. Forgot which (((company))) I was posting about for a second there. Completely understandable.

It's over, Intel is finished.

still no need to upgrade from based haswell

So much for 8 cores

I'll stick to my 4770k until it dies. Then, AMD.

100Mhz bump

Lol

where's the i7?

and hell i might buy one of these if they were soldered special editions

this

Jewtel at it's finest.

Just got a 2700X as an upgrade from my previous 4790K, very happy with it so far, even better when I can get my RAM at 3200 stable, on 3000 for now

Something is missing

their 10 nm process

Not the same, in the screenshots it says U0 stepping while 8100 is B0 stepping

oh shieet

Consider trying to tighten up timings instead. If your motherboard's memory controller has issues at higher RAM frequencies (Mine does 3400Mhz with no trouble but can't really handle 3600 regardless of timings / voltage / etc.),

The Ryzen DRAM calculator can help calculate settings for optimized timings at a given frequency. You could even try calcing for 3200Mhz and see if it is recommending higher voltages or other settings that might help that frequency work.

>100MHz

Will this require a new slot?

The fix is no more HT.

don't worry, intel willfollow nvidia's example and release a ""patch"" for the 8000 series that'll make the 9000 series look like a solid upgrade

>9XXX chips literally have HT disabled
