Dafuq is this? Does the drones just crash to the ground with this thing, or?
Military anti drone jammer?

it should, this just generates noise, so the communication breaks. I guess some drones have autopilot and a backup plan.
Use non-standart freq for the drone. Problem solved.
>launch drone before attack
>all communication breaks down.
>enemy can't radio for airstrikes or backup.
>scan non standard freq.
>find drone freq
>start jammin those freq
There is no getting around it really just delaying it
> 775 grams
> PITBULL is developed to have minimal impact on other signals while jamming
Sellable snake oil that will maybe interfere with 2.4ghz OOTB Chinese toy drones, but probably not much else.
Meanwhile even hobbyists managed to make their damn drones fly autonomously and use different, sometimes pretty directional radio with significant error resistance. The terrorists or whoever will, too.
And the batteries probably won't last long enough to make it worth hauling that piece of shit around.
Totally legit, this little box will take out military drones in a 1km area using only one battery every 20 hours.
Some hobbyist even have optical control working. Can't jam that.
20 bucks that these things give you some form of cancer
wearing that vest daily will probably make you lose your hair and give you cancer.
Cancer survivor here, don't wear these things.
Frequency hopping is a thing, though. You're not going to jam the whole band it could operate on.

>The PITBULL works directly out of the box and is very easy to operate. It is designed to function either autonomously or manually, and the internal directional antennas cover the 2.4GHz, 5.8GHz and GNSS frequency bands. With its directional antennas, the PITBULL is capable of jamming a malicious drone at the distance of 1000 meters. An external active antenna will be made available to cover additional frequency bands.
irrc fancy drones have gps paths and if it loses signal it goes back home.
COUNTER UAV IS UP! THEY ARE BLIND!!
Looks like it will give you cancer later in your life.
Good the military is paying well.
Who? Can you link something?
But not to veterans
Here it is

The demo video is great
No thanks, not buying anything from a company that can't even spell "defense" correctly.
Thanks my dude
>1km
That's fucking nothing. Drones drop payloads from distances 3 times that.
Never heard about this company before... But they are partners with Boeing, Airbus and Lockheed Martin.... hmmmm... I wonder what else they are working on...
ITT: op has never played r6 siege
The idea isn't that you would be using these to protect troops, but that you'd use the troops on patrol to protect the fob, or other assets.
>implying ISIS has people who know how to program or use technology
