I use Windows Ten at work. God does it suck. What's worse is that there was no justifiable reason for the "IT Drones" to move us from 7 to Ten. All our programs work fine under 7. We don't use our workstations for much other than regular office type shit or internet. All internet traffic is going thru firewall/proxy and there is anti virus software on all workstations so any "bad" crap don't infect the network/workstations/servers.

I had this exact same, issue fat fuck coworker installed windows 10 in all machines when I was on vacation when it all worked just fine with win7. Since then we've had 3 corrupted installs after updates and numerous bugs and performance issues.

This must be bait but I can't help myself. There's a LOT fucking wrong with it. Even on LTSB there are stability issues. I've spent more time "fixing" windows 10 than all other versions of windows combined and I've been using it as my main OS since 95. Windows 10 is literally the reason I don't use windows anymore unless I absolutely have to.

We all do it all the time, complain about and switch away from something almost perfect for not being perfect. We all struggle with our decisions, yet:
1- Some are so stubborn to admit to even themselves that they were better off before, convince themselves to falsehood, keep on blaming the ALMOST PERFECT they have ditched for the sense of some false-relief.
2- Some are mature enough to opt for the better, the ALMOST PERFECT, now that they had a taste of the life without. There is no perfect, the advertised perfect is not perfect for them, and maybe even for nobody. No benefit is there for being stubborn.
Some are just fanatics. They cannot accept that they have made a false decision. They cannot apologize, cannot return. Not because the past was worse, just because they are idiot fanatics.

Get the newest version off of tpb or 1337x. The downlod is 3.3 Gb I believe. Use Rufus (that may come with the download) to put it on an empty usb, boot from the usb and install it.

Not really, no. I've given it two times, used it about 2 years in total. About one year Windows 7 on a windows 7 laptop and about one year Windows 8.1 on a Windows 8.1 laptop. (Win7 worked better, btw)
It just breaks. Without me doing anything. In those 2 years I reinstalled 5 times iirc. No cracks or other shady shit. Just android studio, steam and some minor stuff like Notepad++ or VLC etc.
Never again. Not even for vidya, I swallowed the consolepill and pretend to be happy with the macbookmafia.
