many of the anons who browse this board are skilled programmers and there are many anons who browse this board. there is a great community of talented programmers here and there is a great potential in the collective power of all these programmers. if these people brought themselves together then it is possible for them to create their own software company.
think about it Jow Forums, we really could start our own business making and selling software with how many programmers there are on this board. the company (we can call it "Jow Forums-TECH") will be divided into departments, each department will specialize in making one kind of software, for example there would be a department for making video games and only video games, another department would make web-browsers and only web-browsers, so on and so forth.
i think we could really do it, but we need to make plans for this, we need to all think about this, and if this becomes successful then we could really make bank for many of us here.
i could host a webserver and rent a domain name, but i do not know html/CSS or JS so someone else will have to build the website.

I've seen many projects like this fall flat and they don't even get a second thread. However if you're serious, I can create a private git repo on my server. But we should agree what we're doing first. You said a lot of words and none of them are to the point.
James Davis
We need the memest interviews for applicants though >okay user, first do fizzbuzz >good job, now for the next test *whiteboard rolls in*

this thread was made to gauge the interest that Jow Forums might have in making something like this happen, i think we should have a serious meeting to talk about this more completely, to draw plans and agree about what we will be making, to figure out how we are going to do business.
Jow Forums is not a good place to talk privately, we must find a place to discuss our ideas candidly without other people distracting us, i think an IRC channel would be a good choice, does anyone have a better idea?
