Yes it's shit. Firefox is superior.

what about it, looks good to me

Looks like a touch oriented interface when tablets are dead

i see they moved the account icon down to create more space for tabs

>new tab button on the left side
weow

>That almost invisible new tab button.

>click "no thanks"
>closes the browser

OH NONONONONO

Truly awful.

disgusting

>for you

boomer

Looks fine to me, then again I'm using Palemoon on LXDE

Palemoon is shit though

How? Low resource and strips all the dumb shit from official Firefox.

And doesn't support new web standards well, is insecure and its Devs are assholes
Maybe it's good for a toaster but stop please shilling this meme and use a real browser

Good. If there is not going to be a title bar anyway it's the same reason the big X is in the right corner. Don't worry about hunting, just put the common features in the easiest accessible places. Tablet-based interfaces are good because all new screens are going to be touch-capable in 5-10 years whether you move on or not.

I don't give a shit if the developers are assholes, I just want to use their browser. What new standards? Silverlight and flash?

>he STILL doesn't get the "its shit what where they thinking -> i am getting used to it, bretty gud" cycle
lets face it, companies are way ahead of us simple minded plebs

dude Palemoon is crap, I'd love for it to get better but it has problems with loads of website, recaptcha doesn't even work properly for me on Jow Forums. Goggle loads an old google site CSS and gods knows what else, I use it for a day or two every 5 months and I end up going back to chrome

as for OP's post, that pic looks like a scales window. scales windows have a bigger top

I don't even use Chrome and I feel disgusted and personally attacked by this. It is an insult on design.

that is fucking hideous but of course the normies will eat it up and it will become the standard

I knew OP was full of shit

Does anyone honestly use the button instead of ctrl+t

i still use ctrl t but thats because im a odd fellow that still browses the gopher space and uses sea monkey as his web browser

boga boga *throws shit*

>not staying 20 versions behind because Opera messenger/whatsapp update is shit
It's like they change random shit just for the sake of changing it.

>>>/reddit/

Qutebrowser doesn't have this problem.

just as firefox ditches australis, chrome adopts it.
i guess they were just ahead of its time, huh

Which program do you use to screencap that? share-x?

underrated

Yeah, it looks meh.

They moved the +tab to the right side again?

Yup.

Don't mind me, I'm just the best browser

>chromelets will never know this feel

That's maybe material design 2 they leaked in chromium commit message before.
So basically Android and google products will look like that in the future

What's with all the wangtards ITT?

What retard would use Chrome on GNU/+Linux?

Google devs.

name?

Falkon.

What are you talking about, I have ctrl+t bound to open a new terminal window, like every sane person

>KDE shit

It's a decent browser if you're into the QtWebEngine memes. I use qutebrowser myself.

Fucking kid. The browser has no security,

Who cares?
Chrome is botnet.

2018
Giving a sht how browser looks
gtfo and get a life you bby boommers

>Not knowing you can enable everything and still transmit less data than Firefox
>TopKek

looks like shit pham. does it at least support custom css like firefox?

old firefox was only ''good'' for windows fags
before australis the linux version looked like crap
you obviously love crap
is it a fetish?

from their logo to their browser look, it's like they're trying to appeal to children or have an look innocent (i.e. are being purposefully deceitful which only means they're evil)

No thanks

are you mentally handicapped ?

> QupZilla was renamed to Falkon and moved to KDE infrastructure
>retard

Shopped? Same on my mac too

no, I'm on Mojavee and it seems to be default on there... but you could try to force it with chrome://flags just search material.

I tried to get rid of those touch context menus, and can't get it to work (I can change the UI to prev version, but the context menu stays large)

Are they serious? It's still bugging out when having a few tabs open.
Which one is the active tab in this screenshot? How can a multi billion dollar company fuck shit like this up?

Attached: spyware as well.png (1367x148, 26K)

i think that he's talking about the newtab button placement.

Get the newest chromium.

>a few tabs

>still no support for webextensions
everybody point and laugh

>new tab button
>not pressing ctrl t

Sometimes my cursor just so happens to be near the top of the screen, making it more convenient to just click to open a new tab. Doesn't happen very often though.

What looks particularly touch oriented about it?
Looks like a pretty typical desktop browser to me.

also
>tablets are dead
Touch screens sure aren't though.

I usually only use a mouse when I'm browsing so ctrl+t is actually more difficult.

If the new tab button is clickable from the corner like the close button is now, I would consider it a massive improvement. I hate seeing corners go to waste.

Perfect tab management!

is firefox beta the best browser for a normie?

only mega retarded female normies

ctrl + t
ctrl + w
ctrl + shift + t
ctrl + tab
ctrl + shift + tab

I never have and never will use my mouse for doing any of what they do in any program.

Why would a normie ever use a beta?

>I never have and never will use my mouse for doing any of what they do in any program.

>5 hotkeys
>not worth learning to speed up your browsing by 80%

middle mouse

>using windows
Please tell me why you haven't killed yourself yet.

Windows has more software and games than lincucks which keeps a person occupied enough from killing themselves.

>The browser has no security
Since when?

>all these totally not security updates palemoon.org/releasenotes.shtml

people generally read from the top left, diagonally downwards to the right. i guess it's an accessibility thing, but it just doesn't work in this context.

I have ctrl+w, ctrl+t, backward, and forward on my mouse buttons

thats what the windows flag key is for

This

Looks like a mobile app

Still looks like shit but looks better than the manila folder tabs

It looks better than the current weird ass tab design to be honest.
