Why—lack of personal effects? I’ve only been here for a few months and I consider the place fairly barren still.

Love the Adams. My room has some acoustic issues but this is a huge improvement over any previous listening situation I’ve had. They’re a blast to mix on too, and my stuff has been translating better than ever.

The UPS itself is a battery so I don't know how you plan on replacing it, I'd look into something like this.

I got a nice APC one from my office and I dont think I checked the battery in it. It should be replaceable like old ones. I have one of the older common white ones too. I was thinking of using for my work bench.

That and it looks uninspired. Almost everything is the same colour, even the bedsheets.
The walls are void of anything, and the fact that room looks huge in that photo doesn't do it any favours either I suppose.

spent $150 on ducky shine3 and I get usb not recognized. the mini usb that plugs into the keyboard is a diseaster. If I move the keyboard a inch the mini usb loses connection and I have to pick the thing up and wiggle it in.

my glass desk completely slid off last night. the top piece is like an air hockey table. monitor went crashing to floor. glass of wine went everywhere. somehow my ath m50 jack got bent somehow. lolwut. so now I have no headphones and rubber dome keyboard. thing backspaces so slow it's laughable.
