its scary how much AI has evolved, this robot clearly wants to change jobs but wants to be fired instead of quiting for some sweet severance package

You know you joke but this is a really high tier AI because of how much it has to run around the limitations of computer thought.

Iron and Clay is their end objective. It isn't about the AI being able to operate on its own, but rather it being good enough to integrate with our brains, or our souls. They think they can escape God's wrath by making themselves immortal and going into space and colonize other planets, but that is foolish and just Satan lying to them.
Kayden Lee
ai hasn't been actually used on robots yet
leaders on robotics, like boston dynamics, are fond of old school detailed programming, while ai leaders, like google are only doing their very first steps at navigating 3d environments

this, but unironically
Angel Miller
Ackshully, AI can include detailed programming. I think you're conflating AI and machine learning, but machine learning is not necessary in order for something to be considered AI.

Good thing it's not some dumbfuck human who is an authority on evolution but rather nature itself, so a human's opinion on it is about as worth as a bag of shit.

You dumbshits need to off yourselves. Even experts admit they are incapable of unraveling or foreseeing evolution which nature pushes with amounts of information and years that not even all computers on the world combined could calculate, yet some underage dumbfuck on Jow Forums thinks he can push evolutionary mandates.
We didn't even create evolution, so talking of absolutes in regards to it, least of all how it will develop, is something only a pseudo-intellectual shit-for-brain will do. Such arrogance and stupidity.

>dumbshit humie giving lessons one something he neither created nor understands
There's a term for that:
>Noun. pseudointellectual (plural pseudointellectuals) A person who claims proficiency in scholarly or artistic activities while lacking in-depth knowledge or critical understanding. A person who pretends to be of greater intelligence than he or she in fact is.
You don't decide what is truth and what isn't because you are not an authority on it nor have you created it.
You are merely a fedorafag brainlet.
Bentley Campbell
Copypasting words off thesaurus does not make you intelligent.
However, realising that CS students sketch up more optimised hillclimbing algorithms than nature could ever come up with, at every interview, does.
Enjoy your arbitrary change you call evolution.
Thomas Wright
>thesaurus
You can't even fact-check a source yet you are here spewing bullshit out of your facial anus.
Nature already sketched up a hillclimbing algorithm that your CS students still haven't cracked, it's called a mountain goat.
Now take your fedora and shove it up your ass on the way out.
Henry Nelson

Again silicon to robot in less than a century.

When the brainlet has no argument to his brainlet status being called out, he evades it.
Meanwhile Humans keep evolving in whatever path nature is setting and you can't foresee nor debate this activity which is beyond your comprehension or education. You can only copy paste the same meme over and over gain until batteries run out for it.

You may or may not have schizophrenia, given your insane ramblings. You probably think that's fine, too.
>keep evolving
If you open any biology book for once and look at the relative duration of each evolutionary period, you will come to the conclusion it's marginal compared to our technological advances during homo sapiens.
We are closer to nuclear annihilation than whenever the next step may be announced by scientists.
Of course, you know nothing of this and think Jesus will protect us or some shit.
Anthony Russell
It seems like you're anthropomorphising nature/evolution as some sort of entity or intelligence that actually guides what things develop into. That's not how evolution works.
Connor Fisher
because they're billion dollar machines with the world's leading engineers working on them, yet they can't even do something a retarded toddler can accomplish
Jaxson Adams
I know that you can't foresee the future and that only religious madmen of the kind who believe in Jesus Christ would engage in such a stupid activity.
The buzzwords you use are only a projection of your own issues, that of a pseudo-intelectual rambling underage who thinks he has the world figured out yet doesn't know shit about anything, and then goes around the Internet prancing about his inexperienced low-education ideas in hopes of getting some kinds of leupvotes for it.
Take your fedora up your ass on the way out.
We don't know shit about what will happen in the next 20 years, let alone a century and more, and we've had this continuity of this ignorance of your kind being proven false over and over again in the past 50 years.
I don't. Evolution is a phenomena, it can be either negative or positive, it can stonewall something or change it in ways we can't even comprehend since our creativity is limited compared to the scope of randomness that evolution encompasses or the phenomena and existences we are still unaware of today.
Robots meanwhile are limited by our own scope and limited by the resources of this world.
They can have an imaginable advancement for a few decades and then stop having any for the next century and then maybe even get stonewalled by our re-focus of resources elsewhere or even banned by society for whatever reason. The existence of robots doesn't negate evolution, yet evolution would keep running as a phenomena even after robots run out of resources and batteries.
Either way, it takes a dumbfuck to care about this shit when they won't witness it in this lifespan, and that's true fedora stupidity.
Jack Gonzalez
>ad hominem
You could use some shock treatment. Preferably from the wall outlet.
>what will happen in the next 20 years
AI and robots will take over fast food. Was that hard?
We have reached the point where natural selection is void and null. Evolution belongs in the history books, it's an irrelevant snails pace algorithm.
Kevin Garcia
I think you might like this video.
Nathan Peterson
>AI and robots will take over fast food. Was that hard?
Yeah, and AI and robots will also take over car manufacture, except brands like BMW and Mercedes have had a parallel increase of manpower employment that outdoes implementation of robots.
Also AI doesn't exist, it's still sophisticated bots at this moment. Calling a sophisticated bot an AI already shows how dumb as shit you are.
Jaxson Robinson
I'm fine with exoskeletons but fuck implants, replacement limbs, etc.
Jack Morgan
In technology you usually build things on top of other things, if you want to make something near humans maybe starting from scratch is a mistake, using biology with machines is probably more likely to succeed
Aaron Martin
>AI and robots will take over fast food. Was that hard?
AI and robots currently cost more than human resources to fast food chains, as does their maintenance and implementation, so you are farting too much kid. The place in Japan implementing this is depending on subsidy.
Noah Bell

>can't even conjure up a title
>makes statements that go against basic economics and business books because his dreamjerk argument is unprofitable
You sure have the sense of economics of a nigger since you like to bring niggers into the discussion. Humans will always cost less than robots. Biology has set an energy and maintenance cost on human activity which is so efficient that robots will never come close to it in ratios. Cry about it, humans are the cheapest robots you can get and cheap is the only thing that matters in business.
Thomas Price

i think he means that physical manipulation robots dont need ultra complex general purpose algorythms, depending on what they dont even need "computer vision", they just just need to use sensors and operate on motors, and maybe consider additional parameters fed from external info, perhaps info acquired via AI...

people are doing it. it would help if fags like you weren't so entrenched in your literal binary religion, praying to your bitwise gods to deliver some magical computation machine that generates no heat, doesn't use a literal spinning fucking crystal to determine how fast it can go, takes up negative space, and just generally transcends the laws of physics
we know a lot more now about how the biosphere works than we did when transistors were invented. it makes sense to at least TRY and leverage massively scalable systems that are already in place. but for some reason people think shrinking dies, adding more transistors and enlarging heatsinks is the long-term solution.

On the other hand, it is often easier to rewrite from scratch than to understand, document and fix of a huge binary with a disassembler.
