Access Phone data without password

Hey Jow Forums. I dropped my huawei p9 and smashed the screen. Now I can't unlock it and you need to put in the password before you can access the data via a pc.

How can I access the storage to get my contacts and pictures etc. onto my computer?

If you have custom recovery, you can mount your sdcard from there, if you don't then use OTG cable to connect mouse. Most of the phones should support it ootb.

What's a custom recovery? Mount my sd card?

You can get a micro usb to usb dongle then plug in a keyboard or mouse. Android supports them so you use them just fine

if you have usb debugging enabled, plug it in and use that. otherwise get the screen replaced
