Well, no, they don't
Post some actual benchmarks (eg rendering shit) or fuck off

this better?

Why do you consumers act like you're supposed to market this shit for the respective companies?
Are you genuinely both shills paid to battle here?

Retarded right ? It's just amusing seeing dumbasses from both side flaming shit.

I find it clutters the board.
They usually don't actually say anything substantial anyway.

t. Corelet

My bud, I have an 8086k on route as part of my new build, with 32GB of RAM and a 1080ti; what do you think of that 8086k?

>8350K consumes more power than 2700X

I call bullshit. The difference between Ivy Bridge and Covfefelake isn't anywhere near 30%.

As you know, it's just a binned 8700k. Mine is delidded and It can run stable at 5.3GHz, -2 AVX, 1.435V.

It can also reach 5.4GHz, +1.45V but I couldn't keep it completely stable, maybe it's possible spending more time tweaking the BIOS but I don't want to play at these voltages.

In my opinion, the sweet spot for everyday use is between 5.0 / 5.1 GHz without any AVX offset and about 1.26V.(for 5.0GHz)

The lastest 8700k batches can't run at these speeds with these voltages, and being delidded helps with the temps, so I'm happy with it.

I didn't look that deep into them and them seem like quite an outcast CPU, but I read it was new and 5 GHz is exactly the sort of thing I'm after.

My last PC died a death - RIP old 2700k

It's just a what moment? lol

I've went for water cooling in this prebuild because I cannot be arsed this time around; easy I know but I'm getting lazy.

Out of the box, only one core can run at 5GHz. You have to overclock it to set all cores to that speed, but it's just a moment

I'm guessing that's something you would recommend? I've one of the top end MSI boards coming too and I overclocked my previous 2700k myself via a shit ass Sabertooth Z77 board that gave me nothing but grief.

In your opinion, would you say it's hard? A friend of mine told me about an automatic tweaker that comes with the board's BIOS.

I'm posting from my phone, sorry for the mistakes.

There are tons of guides to overclock the 8700k that are fine for the 8086k, just follow this video:
youtu.be/CoUtA7DKXhU

For the 8086k try a lower core voltage like 1.26 or 1.27V, a VCCIO and VCCSA of 1.1 / 1.15 V (because in auto they usually are too high) and a cache ratio of 47.

No worries man.

Sounds similar to what my overclocking of my 2700k was; I'm not a grandmaster but I've a fair idea what I'm doing. I didn't even have a Super Speedy Drive in my computer before it died. I'm currently on my brother's shit ass computer that I've moved upstairs to help keep myself sane.

The problem here is the 1080 Ti. If you own a 8400 or 2600 you are more likely to be running a 1080 or lower so the difference will be fuck all between them.
