speccy is spyware

core2duo t7200 1.6ghz
1050p 4:3 monitor
80gb SATA1 20mbps
win7 no aero

I paid too much for it. I fully admit it and wish I could redo it now, but it works fine so I'll wait til the next build.

Good luck on the next build then. I don't think speccy can read coffeelake CPUs even with an update though.

Do... do you mean a 1680x1050 16:10?

You've got my attention. I've never heard of such a critter; I'm gonna go look this shit up right fucking now

for the glory of satan of course

but what are you actually doing with it? I ask because you have a 6700k so clearly you're not doing any actual stressful work.

Attached: specs.png (655x523, 29K)

Damn I'd trade one of my FX modules for all that display.

I got this TODAY. This is the very first look at my hot spexxx.

Nice specs, I'm hoping the used price of Pascal cards will tank as the new generation comes in.

bump

Second 1080 Ti is a waste unfortunately, I learned this the hard way. There's virtually nothing out there that a single 1080 Ti can't run at 80-100+ FPS at 3440x1440 already that actually supports SLI. I threw my second 1080 Ti in a guest PC in the living room as fuck the micro stutter if there's no gains to be had.

Also laptop speccy cause it's fucken late and in bed.

It's not a waste at all. I'm coming from dual non-Ti 1080 SLI. I have plenty of games that I can't get 100 FPS (max settings) with two Ti's at 3440x1440. I also have a 4K. Maybe you just don't play high end shit?

>6GB ram

What is this shitty meme, why not just go for 8?

Attached: Capture.png (671x530, 41K)

>78LMT
Is that thing okay when the 8 core goes under load? that board looks a little anemic.

It's not the biggest fan but it works. no overclocking though

Nice, nice, I even heard that thing won't even let you raise the vcore sky high so it wont burn it which is good.

Battlefield 1, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Dues Ex MD, Battlefront, ass effect andromeda, DA:I, For Honor, DaS3, Forza Horizon 3, FFXV, Battlefront, Battlefront, Far Cry Primal, Tekken 7 the list just goes on and on senpai. The only shit that doesn't run at 100FPS doesn't work with SLI or is frame locked.

Taking a second 1080 Ti out of my main PC had virtually no real world impact on performance in games. Literally fucking nothing. In more games than not, it actually ran better with less weird dips or shit frame pacing. And no, it was not bottle necked by a 5930k running at 5ghz, nor by the 16GB DDR4 3200mhz, everything installed on an SSD and a 1300w EVGA PSU... I never bothered trying to stuff the two 1080 Ti's into my guest PC running a 6700k as I'm not sure it's 650w PSU could handle it, even if it can there's been absolutely zero reason to do so after seeing results from the 5930k build.

Win10-tan is best girl.

You're right at your resolution sli 1080 tis are wasted, you have to go 4k or 5k to really utilize them.

>I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about
Yeah, cause it's really different on any of my 3 4k displays, user. The same games that don't run at a solid 60 at 4k are the same games that don't support SLI. You could look up any benchmarks you like and easily see this is the case. I've been running SLI since the 7950s, then 280s, 480s, 770s, stupidly gave AMD a shot with R9 290Xs, quickly swapped over to 980s, then 980 Ti's and finally now 1080 Ti's. This is the first time I've had more cons than pros with SLI as the entire market seems to have flat out dropped support for it in anything it'd actually matter for.

Attached: speccy5.png (1061x981, 200K)

got enough ssds there, buddy?

Should i upgrade or wait and buy new PC?:
+ GC to 1060 GTX (6GB)
+ Ram to 16GB
+ Add SSD (120gb) for system

Attached: poorfag.png (778x384, 38K)

SLI is kinda of a dying animal because for the first time in a while we're CPU bound, i'ts not like when you had core 2 or an early i7 and could keep upgrading the GPUs because the CPU wasn't holding it back.

Bro, I don't use medium settings. I use ultra on everything. I own nearly all of those games and they do not get a solid 100 FPS at 3440x1440 with an overclocked 1080 Ti.

Remember when SLI was cool. It still wasn't dead when I got these open box 970's back in 2014.

Newfag

You're doing something terribly wrong, then. I admit I turn off motion blur and DoF because it looks like dog shit every single time but other than that, I run ultra.
