Whatever minor difference there is between amd and intel cpus can be compensated for by lowering the graphics settings in games. Outside of games it won't matter.
Also stop putting spaces before question marks.

sorry i have autism will fix that in future posts.

This is such a stupid question. Asking Ryzen vs Intel makes no sense. One is a product line and another is an entire coroporation. What specific models do you mean to compare? Because comparing top of the line models of the newest generations is useless because they are more or less the same. 2770x or 8700K same shit. They will both do the job of 144hz gaming (or close to it)

an i5 8400

what are you trying to say? Is that a question? A statement?

what's better for 144hz gaming ryzen 1600 or intel i5 8400?

Get the 2600.

If you are going to stream at the same time, Ryzen is great with encoding. Intel is too, but only some of the more expensive models put up a fight.
>t. researched this a few months after Ryzen released, but not recently.

I don’t know the comparisons offhand and there are literally websites for that if you can manage a google search for cpu comparisionz but i think its the i5 8400. If you were comparing it to the ryzen 2600 maybe that would be different but gen 1 ryzen had some drawbacks

But honestly if you want to do 144hz then you should be using i7 or ryzen 7. If you currently have budget constraints, remember that AMD is supporting their current socket until 2020 so you will be able to easily upgrade later.

also 144hz doesn’t make much sense without stating the resolution. 1080p or 1440p is a huge differnce.

get the ryzen 2600, costs as much as a 1600 and it's really good in gaming.

2600
or
2600x

more expensive = better processor so just buy the best you can afford

realistically speaking they are the same but the X version does the basic overclocking for you.

in my country its $270 vs $350, worth it?

i'm not gonna stream

that's expensive

I clearly stated the resolution in my post it was 1080p

no not worth it

The only reason to buy Intcel you working on Android studio or if are a gayymer who want 5 more fps.

If you're gaming the CPU almost doesn't matter because you're going to be bottle necked by your graphics card anyway. My 1600 rarely even gets to 30% utilization while my 1060 is always maxing out at 100% in games. Depending on your budget you may even just want to get like a ryzen 1400 and overclock it. You can then spend the rest of your money on a better graphics card, an ssd, and more/better ram. All these things will have a much bigger impact on game performance than an expensive processor.

Ryzen is suitable for anything you throw at it. If you're a sperglord and need 5 more fps, games are optimized for Intel.

i3 8350k is best gaming CPU atm. (its 4core) and overclocks the highest.

Yep I run 1080p 100-200fps with a Ryzen 2700x and a v56

All gaming threads need to go on /v/.
