The Programming Language C by D.Ritchie is probably a good start

not OP, but I've heard this book shilled a lot
is it actually good? despite being old

The C Programming Language, Second Edition

youtube.com/watch?v=fVrQdz_x9hs

it's ok, it has a lot of basic exercises in it

why should anyone waste time recommending a book to someone on here?

Summer? Is that you?

C Programming: A Modern Approach, the first edition holds up extremely well and you can get it used on Amazon for $8.

You'll need to set your compile flags according to the version of C used when the book was written. Using a modern C would not get you to do the exercises.

Lurk moar faggot.
