So um...Spectrum just doubled my internet speed from 100M to 200M. And my price is remaining the same. I thought net neutrality was suppose to kill the internet.

Good thread, faglord

thanks faggot

Xfinity has done nothing expect throttle and charge me for breaching their data cap. Lucky you

where you live

it will eventually but they're trying to trick idiots into thinking it is not so bad. play the longer game, okay user?

Yeah they'll hit you up next month. You little bitch, to the cable company you are an ant with a bank account.

Atlanta

Never got the datacap from Comcast..
feels good

I have the 300mb
Always get at least 340mb
Spectrum is good in comparison to the (((competition)))

Fiberfag reporting in

920Mbps up
980Mbps down

$70 a month

AT&T in Austin

Century link 80 mpbs and i get 80. It works good for $40

No one has frontier?

God i wish that were me

Amerifats literally is thirld world. No first world country have datacaps

what do you do with 1gig worth of speed?

frontier offered only 1 to 7 M for my place. fuck them

I am a spectrum user and I call bullshit. Spectrum has done nothing to improve speeds and, if anything, has gone out of its way to ruin speeds.

Ehh idk, I lived in North east Ohio and was TWC when spectrum took over they ran new lines into my complex and my speeds doubled for the same price. I had to call in about it but it happened.

Just so everyone knows, if you live in an urban center in America (like, above 50k people, not tough), you should have 1Gb by now.

The fact that Spectrum is "stepping up their game" is about as impressive as those companies who are offering contracts "where the price never goes up" (the price of internet in general is dropping)

All the porn.

All of it.

no it's true. here the speed was 60mbps, then in December 100mbps and now 200mbps

((((((you))))))

this

tfw 25/3 Mbps $100 a month

net neutrality kills the internet in the same way that tax cuts kill the economy
pro tip: it doesn't, it does the opposite
IS THERE REALLY ANY OTHER POINT TO THE INTERNET

500up/500down

$60/month

WebPass (socal)

I live in a country with met neutrality regulations and that's happened to me like 3 times in the last 10 years with my ISP. I just have the cheapest plan and they bump the speed to follow up on the competition's deals, nothing out of the ordinary.

contact on their support and ask for the free upgrade to 200. They told me the usual (You must reboot your modem for so and so minutes) which still didn't help but I did at least have 100 from 60.

>having a data cap
never get anything short of a unlimited data cap

I live in an area where Comcast has a monopoly. I either pay them and deal with a data cap or go without internet.

>Charter Spectrum’s discount lasts one year, and then the price goes up. It will go up again after the second year, too. We can’t tell you the exact amount of the price increase because it’s not the same for everyone.

>Charter Spectrum’s website lists internet service at $29.99 per month, but if you take a closer look at the fine print, you’ll notice the price is good only if you bundle internet with TV and phone service. Where we tested Charter Spectrum service, the internet-only option was $44.99 per month.

>if you want a Wi-Fi enabled modem from Charter Spectrum, it will cost an extra $5 per month.

The absolute state of american internet

>tfw in the UK 40-50mbps internet is considered really good.
When I see these three digit numbers, it hurts.
