It's just very old.
>2008 cpu
>2018 GPU
>amd fasceon
why
What distro is that?
>why
Its an old machine I got for free, I can still play games at 1080p medium settings. Bought the GPU used for like $120
Windows 10
For once it's idle. (other than playing a video in the background)
It gets the job done, but definitely could use more ram.
Wallpaper please?
no
God dam it, why am I so autistic?
It's just fucking hopeless.
How the hell did you customized Windows 10 like that? No links. necessary. Just the name of the software or icons.
Why am I posting this for no reason?
>tfw hit 68C during a 4.5GHz cinebench run
SCARED
And here is my ThinkPad.
Thermal cutoff for FX is like 62c fampai
Fug, I think the TJMAX on it is 80C where it will shut off before damaging itself, but I daily 4.4 because it's the most you can get while having a low voltage.

Wow! I only asked fro names, but you dropped the links. Thanks! Really Appreciated.
Also I've ran AMD CPUs at higher temps than that and they never died.
You're also thermal throttling.
Exactly, the 8350 will run at 1.4GHz until the temps dips down and rinse and repeat, the chip's plenty smart.
You're welcome. by the way you can also get visual styles for Windows 10 that will customize what the file explorer/control panel/task manager/etc looks like such as: deviantart.com
>windows 10 home/pro
/v/ called, they want you all back.
CPU temps for my Speccy are incorrect because the 2700x is brand-new, so I included the correct temperatures from HWMonitor.
HWMonitor isn't gonna show some stuff correctly for Ryzen by the way, use hwinfo64. Not sure about temps, but for sure clocks are being misread.
HwInfo64 output
Check sensors only at launch, it'll be a nice hwmonitor-ish readout of crap.
nothing special
why an 8GB RX470 and not just a 480? The only point of getting the RX470 was the much cheaper 4GB edition. At least it was when they first launched before miners fucked everyone.
My Speccy. I've been encoding all week. Just finished encoding the entirety of Breaking Bad blu-ray rips. Around 12 new movies. Also ripped/encoded GATE anime, Kobayashi's Maid Dragon series. This 1700X was the best investment I've made. I'm really hoping AMD launches a 10c/20t chip on the AM4 socket otherwise I might find myself buying into Threadripper.
its ok
Someone please recommend a GPU. I just recently upgraded the CPU and RAM. I wanted to play some new games with a reasonable framerate.
>Crystal Well
Neat
GTX 1050Ti although desu your CPU is very old and it well be your weak point in new titles. Anything more than the 1050Ti would be severely bottlenecked by your current CPU.
Alright thanks for the input. What about a GTX 970 though? Or some other card from the 700 or 900 series?
The prices were already kinda weird, the difference between 8GB and 4GB was 8EUR and the RX480 cost 50EUR more and 4GB more can never hurt.
try harder
I wouldn't waste your money on a 970. However a 980ti if you have the cash for them is a serious performer even to this day. I have a 980Ti Classified model that still pumps 70+FPS at 2560x1440p. However people still charge an arm and a leg for them. Like $350 starting used. I would just buy a 1050Ti or at MOST a 3GB GTX 1060.
Like I said though your CPU is your limiting factor in any scenario.
why such small resolutions if you are gonna keep your windows autistic like that?
>1680x1050
>small
That's a god tier resolution, it can be about 20 inches or so but it can fit a good bit.
trips of truth. and yeah man it's the best combination of resolution i've felt /comfy/ in gaming and programming.
yeah for movies i can buy bigger ones but it's not an emergency at all. i'm satisfied with this setup for 2-3 years now so stuck with it.

ok
I haven't had this for long and I'm considering getting a second screen, it just seems convenient
Waiting until Zen2 to upgrade CPU. Mobo's probably garbage.
pretty good value pc
>7 GB of ram
Wtf is this bullshit?
Damn I wish that were my penis she's licking.
>using anything crome based
integrated graphics is consuming 1gb for itself
Forgot to put the backplate on when I made this build. Also need to buy some fans for the cooling and put the side panel back on the case...
>tfw I've been procrastinating this for 4 months and have done little else with my free time besides gaming, banging, shooting, and lifting
>Mobo's probably garbage
Why?
thanks

I have no idea why my 1tb HDD is showing up as an SSD
Can you post your battlestation and your guts? I'm morbidly curious.
>23 inch Cinema Display
If it weren't for the LED backlighting, I would've got one of those used instead of the U2412M, because the Cinema displays were fucking quality.
I have all these monitors but I'm still not happy
get another one
It's all Anime and Movies.
Before you ask.
>8350 on rog board with the 7900 series card
>tfw you would still give a nut for that ultimate 2012 AMD machine
DESU you should do what I do and have it all on a seperate server
costs more for redundancy but if you fuck up something on your main pc nothing bad happens
winnigger
Yea this 8350 - 7970 combo, on a Asus Crosshair, when i first built it was fantastic. I thought it'd be able to last a while. Still 6 years later.
I had upgraded from a 955BE and a 4870x2.
I thought about it. Currently have an old Mac Pro running game servers, but I figured most of it is pointless anyway. I hardly re-watch anything. Especially more than 700 chinese cartoon series'.
I hate deleting things
I'll have twice this pretty soon when I have enough space
The garage computer. Still quick enough to suit my purposes.
I had more, close to 850, but deleted some I knew I wasn't gonna rewatch, got down to 600. Now I'm back to 750...
It's a continuous cycle.
Also have 5-6 other Desktops around here. Numerous Laptops, mostly Thinkpads from Recycle. Three T400, T410, Three T420, T22, A22m, 385CD. I seem to be hoarding computers too.
My Garage PC.
I was gonna say ">propus" but that boards only a 4+1 phase board so that's probably better ipc than an FX-4300.
