Just got my grades back for the first half of my third year at Uni (software eng with honours) and got a B+ overall (were this the only factor in honours, I'd get 2-1, second class first div.)
In your experience, how important are good grades in the dev industry? How important are bad grades?

How important are bad grades? Grades matter, but professors also do things like weight grades and offer extra credit.
The main thing is how well you grasped the concepts, and if you worked on anything with the tools you learned.
Did you enjoy the course?

Yeah, was great fun in the end. Did a group project that went horrible but learned a lot from those mistakes and it continues full year so I should be able to rectify it.

Having fun doing something is the greatest motivator. Try to start networking with people, and getting letters of recommendation and places to intern from your professors.
