I ordered a new Amphibia crown for my Soviet Amphibia but only now I realized that 2409 is a handwound movement without a date complication. Will this crown fit that movement? Do I need to find a specific crown/stem for a 2409 movement? Or should I just replace the 2409 with a modern movement instead?

An incabloc model sounds neat. I'd really like a model of a balance and swiss lever escapement but haven't found one.

The numbers for the hours? Quite rare. I've seen maybe 4-5 examples ever. It took about 10 months watching eBay to get one. I've seen just enough of then to believe it's an original, legitimate dial design, and not a one-off redial. Most cosmics just have stuck indices. That said, if you want it, start looking. The watch is that much cooler for how long it took me to find it.
