Yes, don't go to websites that use it
Don t be silly, not a viable option
Why do you hate freedom?
Because of comfort
flash player is based though
Try to use the mobile version of the website
getting fucked in the ass is not comfort
I thought Chrome/Chromium ditched flash by default? Is it installed by default on Windows?
flash is great in what it can do with animations, but it's shit that it's from adobe.
Checking the sticky and I noticed Brave browser.
Any good? Does it play flash?
I like it, but it's pretty basic. it's what I install for noobs to make it harder for them to fuck up. it's chromium + inbuilt ad/script blocker
it does play flash, but you have to install a certain flash player made for chromium. accessible from brave settings menu.
Comfort over freedom, pave a path of leisure have it all
Freedom over comfort, give you back so much leisure
Feel small
But how to browse /f/ then?
>Any way to ditch Flash Player?
Disable it. I have it installed on my version of Firefox. But it is disabled. Not sure why I keep it around as I have never needed it. I guess I'm afraid of encountering a site that will only run with flash.
Only soyboys are too afraid to have Flash Player installed
>Chromium
Pretty fucking sure Chromium doesn't even ship with flash and you have to enable it on a site by site basis for Chrome.
What are you smoking OP?
>flash
it's actually been quite a while now that i've even seen it mentioned anywhere
people /still/ have it installed?
do they even develop it anymore?
i haven't used it in about 10 years now.
the scene is alive :)
>Proprietary software
You're just a pathetic pleb who is too stupid to learn full FOSS lyfe. You will be left behind in this ever rapidly advancing world due to your inflexibility.
dang, version 30? last one i used was 9
hey, i watched plenty of animations and played plenty of shockwave games in the first half of the 2000's like anyone else who was young at the time, once video streaming became more feasible, and i could download 'actual' games, and websites stopped needing it, there was no need to keep it around anymore
if there's one good thing to come out of the iPhone, it's killing off flash on the web
>tfw it's required for Shogun 2 Total War
It's a real shame there isn't a fully functional open source reimplementation yet.
That doesn't work with 95% of flashes that matter.
Macromedia
Timestamped pic of your Talos II or gtfo
Brave ships wirh build in ads and tracking
Don't use Brave.
My company website is 100% flash (with loading bars and "skip intro"), they dont care about SEO optimization, disabled back button or mobile users, they want to impress people with sound effects, embedded movies or cool effects.
I too still play with them monkeys! Bloons Monkey City, but on the site, how can you not use the browser?
Sounds rad to me
Palemoon or Waterfox then?
What websites are you using that still require flash?
Facebook, local news sites
>Facebook
