Latest benchmarks from leading GNU/Linux publication phoronix reveals that AMD cards running free and open drivers are beating binary blob driver powered NVidia cards at every price-point. It's clear that NVidias hostility towards GNU/Linux and their insistence on binary blobs have given them a clear disadvantage. There's also quite a few benchmarks that demonstrate that multiplatform games run faster and smoother on GNU/Linux. The time to embrace freedom-giving software is now.

AMD cards don't use that much power if that's what you're getting at.
How else would I connect 3 4k monitors? can't really run that at 10-bit RGB without a GPU with 8 GB RAM and 3 displayport outputs.
1080Ti is included in this benchmark but I decided to cut that last line away with GIMP before posting on Jow Forums

I feel compelled to point out that AMD cards have the added benefit of producing more RAM over time with the current linux git kernel (4.18.0-rc4-2NE1+) on AMD Polaris based cards. My RX570 had 8 GB when I booted this computer 14 hours ago and now it's got 10 GB VRAM. That's 1 GB of extra free RAM added to the card by minions every 7 hours. NVidia doesn't have this feature.
