AUR, one of the main features, is completely unsecure and ripe for exploitation. So many idiots use AUR helpers and have no idea what is being installed with the package they install with yaourt. Additionally, it's so easy to get one past even an experienced person who happens to easily miss the malware script in the pkgbuild.

I can't even get to load. It looks like Sabyon is jusing the same one is Fedora but it always crashes/. It just says theres an error. I'd like to try gentoo but it's just a pain the ass to install too. I got halfway through and just gave up. I got to the part where I was suppose to compile the kernel but I couldn't find 4.17 anywhere. The default one was old shit. So it just didn't seem worth the effort.

Are you talking about the malware scare a couple days ago? It didn't even work. He was trying to upload user system info and then install a miner later but he was such a trash programmer it didn't work. He did the same shit in the Ubuntu store and got caught a few months. The guy is really pathetic. Linux security is just to lax in general. The repos are missing a lot of key software and are ruining a key advantage linux had over windows.

I make heavy use of Qt applications so I prefer the KDE edition. It just werkz and I get a nice filepicker.
