Maybe I've just bought into the meme a little strongly but apparently ENFPs are basically fucking useless as programmers and the only thing they could do well is UX design.
Just looking for a little reassurance that I'm not completely wasting my time going to uni for comp sci.

If thinking is not in some way present at the top of your cognitive function stack then you probably should not be in the vanguard of a thinking centric effort. If you are a programmer fanboy, perhaps you should look for a position involving the maintenance of morale.

A questionnaire is a very poor instrument. You've probably learned to repeat the values and priorities of others. This will result in an MBTI misclassification.
ENTP here. Studying computer engineering and it's pretty kool. Personality types push you along the way but it's what you do about it that counts. At least that's what I think because I'm not really sure how I think it just happens and I go with it, dwelling on it doesn't help.
