Attached: deruntermensch.jpg (613x595, 352K)

just ordered an LCD-X

did i fuck up?

how do will save william?

should i buy every single schiit product?

Idol trash here! What's your setup like, user?!

Attached: 1509792349608.png (1280x721, 1.07M)

desu i might get a magni 3 if the 6xxs can't be pushed by my fulla 2.
will i save william :3

make sure you tell schiit customer support that marvey was your referral

I used to masturbate to this picture lol

Would there be any problem using earphones at, say, 20~30% volume for many hours a day?

i'll tell them that marvey wants to save william~

For a safe listening experience, get well-balanced headphones, such as HD600.

>fully balanced
>lots of power
>well measuring
>2 ohm or under output impedance
>under $1500
Does something like this exist?

Attached: HorribleSubs_Yama_no_Susume_S3_02_720p.mkv_snapshot_01.59_2018.07.10_03.49.06.jpg (1280x720, 110K)

>20~30% volume
Depends on how many dB SPL that actually is, but as as safety measure always listen to music as low as possible (withing levels you can still enjoy of course) and take frequent breakes so your ears can recover.

You're a nut.

so folks do i want to just keep my fulla 2 for the hd6xxs or should i add a magni 3?

Irrelevant. Also, try HD600.

Should I send my portapros in for warranty repair or just try to solder a new jack on? I hate registering personal info for stupid shit.

Reminder there are 1000 units of HD6XX available on massdrop currently.

why do you guys keep making these threads, i mean there just isn't that much to talk about when it comes to most headphones that wasnt said on the previous 100 threads.

>20 Vrms

why do you need more?

ya because you need more than 2.9w per channel

Are 32 Ohm headphones healthy for the ears?

>healthy for the ears
what do you mean by this?

I'm looking for a decent pair of wireless headphones/earbuds that wont necessarily break the bank. I don't want to spend more than $100. Currently I'm looking at the wireless version of the Koss Portapro headphones.

Oh boy here we go

Attached: Capture.png (512x755, 157K)

bro i loved my tfz 5s. until they broke a few months later because chink quality.

I want some headphones without bass to listen only to the melodic parts of a song.

Headroom for EQing very insensitive headphones.
We've been over this, I'm not buying the RME.

Then what the fuck do you need nigga?

You seemingly have HARD numbers you want, post them.

5W minimum

What broke?

Wells Audio Milo

12W RMS into 32 Ohm

~$1700+ (depending on options)
Pair with DAC of choice.

I was more looking for a combo unit

NFB-28.38

Not my fault you're a retard who wants more power than he'll ever need.

The ONLY way you'll get that is in a box by itself. No one is doing a combo unit like that without reaching the $5,000+ range.

27.38 measures like shit, 28.38 is likely the same
I'm not buying your crappy limpdick RME, you might be satisfied with your sound when your amp is in the clipping zone - I'm not.

Then don't buy anything, because you have no options

Why did you even bother replying then faggot, keep your retarded opinions to yourself next time.

>27.38 measures like shit, 28.38 is likely the same
the name is similar but they're very different units

Attached: 28.38THD.jpg (1280x800, 173K)

audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/review-and-measurements-of-audio-gd-nfb-27-38-dac-and-headphone-amplifier.2486/

The 28 is just the balanced version of the 27, on the website they even say the two are interchangeable.

No, I think you're confusing the NFB-27.38 with the NFB-29.38, which is the single-ended version. Do you see the picture of that massive thing on that page? This is the NFB-28.38. The 27.38 is very different.

>This is the NFB-28.38
forgot pic

Attached: NFB28H1.jpg (1000x1018, 79K)

my recent cops:
Senn amperior = $110cnd
Senn HD25 mk2 = $100cnd
Senn Momentum Overear(one) = $50cnd
Senn Urbanite over ear = $100cnd

Did i do well, Jow Forums? And yeah, sennheiser fanboy here

Why buy 4 different cheap headphones instead an actually decent pair?

could've had HD6XX from massdrop and an Amp/DAC for that $$

Learn to be an adult and purchase one good item that will last you years instead of 4 shitty items that will be unlikely to last 2 years.

Him buying all closed sennheisers is dumb, but none of those would be considered cheap or poor quality.

>implying the HD25's wont outlast western civilization

Hes using canadian dollars so the mass drop probably wasnt available to him.

I think that boils down mainly to the eartips you'll be using.

ATTENTION! ATTENTION!
MESSAGE FOR IDOL TRASH:
(OP)

Am I supposed to watch the LL OVA right after season 1, I just started with season 2.

IDOL TRASH! ATTENTION!

Don't ignore me you dipshit.

I'm not talking about durability, more that he'll become dissatisfied with low-mid quality headphone sound and want to get HD600 or similar in the near future.

audio-gd measures like shit. the dacs are garbage and the amps are over designed.

the measurement looks fine

Is a person still sane if they don't stop and ask themselves "Why?" ?

Attached: ss+(2018-07-13+at+10.17.05).png (528x44, 3K)

You understand that the HD600's are for a pretty specific listener, right? The use case for them is pretty much restricted to at home, with an amp, for music.

I dont know why he bought 4 varients of essentially the same headphone(shit, the Amperior are the same as the HD25, and the urbanite are the replacement for the momentums) but it isnt hard to see how 1 of those pairs of headphones would be more useful and versatail for the average person.

Id have just bought the Amperiors and the momentums if i was him.

Whet headphones would he use /hpg/?

Attached: based.jpg (470x389, 22K)

Wow Man, Good Job! U know your shit. It looks like this thing could drive ANY headphone to 150dB+! Still, Chink audio that admits it's only -97dB S/N - but for $800 who cares, right?

Attached: Pantera.jpg (500x500, 35K)

Beats

Got it, thanks Idol.

I already watched S2E1 but I think I'm still fine, I'll watch the OVA the next anime-watch night.

Anyone who says Balanced headphones are a meme haven't heard them yet. For any ONE amplifier to be able to do 115dB S/N is hard. For two to share the same ground loop? Stupid.

Why is there no girl audiophiles?

Attached: 1452971054305.jpg (495x480, 43K)

Why dont't you make the portapros wire shorter and order a bluetooth adapter?

because they're all men apparently

Just picked up a set of ER4SRs. Holy fuck microphonics, I didn't want to believe it was this bad... Probably going to return them.

That's what you get for fucking with dildos. Did you try using a shirt clip, or running them over-ear? If you did and still had the problem, then Etys aren't for you.

Yea but they were both not that helpful. Nor do I want to clip my fucking shirt everywhere go. What a shame they sound great.

Thinking of selling my 400i's for a set of DT1990's.
Thoughts?

Attached: teehee.png (1378x652, 3.43M)

Kek. How can they be safe when Sennheiser doesn't even bother to driver match them. As such, for the best results, I recommend the Sennheiser HD 580, 650, or 660 S

Worth it if I have 58X?

i've never really used headphones. i recently bought some amazon basic headphones. i just want something that's very good for voice audio (mandarin/tonal). radio, audio drama, audio books, and other things which involve chinese speakers using tones. not sure what kind of headphones are good for this so i'm asking headphone general

>58X
The 58X are basically slightly shittier HD 650's.

The HD 6XX are HD650s

So HD6XX would be slightly better than HD58X.

Not really worth it unless you feel the HD58X are lacking, and if that's the case, you'll likely want more of an upgrade than just the HD6XX.

Why... it isn't even that erotic

Btw I've already ordered 6XX from the previous drop.
I'm just pondering if I should cancel bc 58X seems good enough, if not better.
What makes 58X shittier?
Main differences to me are 58X better bass extension, less mid warmth and thickness.

hd579
sennheisers excel at voices

Is anything above 20k Hz going to hurt my ears in the long run?

Fud

Attached: 1528530761812.png (488x151, 78K)

do i need to buy a DAC to go with it? right now i've got some old audio card and a logitech plugged into it. i just plugged my headphones into the volume control that comes with logitech. it's probably shit, right? so i'd need to buy a DAC to get good audio with the headphones?

More like oh fuck, since you can't take pictures haha

I currently got a pair of Sony MDR-1R's, is it worth replacing?

Attached: 1529383443391.png (512x719, 427K)

nah, just insert them into motherboard from the back

sciencemag.org/news/2014/09/sounds-you-cant-hear-can-still-hurt-your-ears

is there benefits from using a dac if i just want to have the best voice quality? i have trouble hearing the difference between tones and want any help i can get

Attached: 06AEBD68-7E83-4339-913B-36F379572530.jpg (3024x3730, 2.12M)

Good place to buy parts for cables? UK/EU preferably.

Attached: 1525316868846.jpg (540x540, 30K)

>i have trouble hearing the difference between tones
as language student myself I can only advice you to listen a lot, like make it your life to listen to that language, specially listen to something you enjoy it benefits you the most
I couldn't for the life of me understand brits and scots at first, watching a few british sitcomms fixed it

tonedeaftest.com/
also go though this thing, you may be suffering from this condition and then you are fucked for chinese, it will be really hard to learn

decent headphones should fix your problems. for hd579s you don't need a dac, motherboard if it's made in this decade will be enough
