That's what I ended up doing. I just wanted to listen to videos while I was mowing the lawn. It is hard to control anything in desktop mode though.

I just started downloading the audio on my PC and transferring it over. Much easier.

Not same problem but sometimes YouTube refuses to go to the next video when I leave autoplay on. That happens when I play game and my browser (Firefox) is on the background. What have I done wrong?

when fullscreen the other video starts just playing in the same player, the site behind the fullscreen is still the video you were watching before. when exiting fullscreen it goes to your current video's page. i don't see anything weird in that

and they recently bumped the audio quality from 128 AAC to 192 AAC
