One of these is a dinosaur relic, likely used by futureless cubicler. Another is one used by legendary programmers, celebrated musicians, and creative professionals everywhere.

Well then good thing I'm not a legendary programmer, a celebrated musician or a creative professional, and I'm certain you aren't either.

What did I tell you about keeping your toys on daddy's work computer?

Bend over to the BBC white boi

>The virgin Macbook vs the chad Thinkpad

And the X1 carbon is not as powerful as the MBP.

Don't give us shit.

We all know that laptop doesn't do that batt life.

This thread again?

One has sufficient cooling, the other throttles like fuck.

Just a reminder.
This is the Boi who made this video

One is a tool, the other is a toy.

You can see the numbers for yourself.
85Wh secondary battery + 90Wh primary.
Only takes 8.2W idle, which is actually higher than my other Thinkpad which is about 7W. The 7W one only has about 65Wh between its two batteries though (or it would if I hadn't bought chinkshit batteries).

Compare that to the 2018 MBP which has an 83Wh battery, and advertises up to 10 hours of battery life, meaning the idle power draw is...8.3W.

You can just bring 2 MBPs. It will still be thinner and lighter, and now have more battery life!

I'd rather carry around a USB C battery bank that can charge my mbp twice than deal with a sandy bridge era cpu and eye cancer 1366x768 TN.

The devices are worlds apart I'm baffled you even have the audicty to compare them.

>eye cancer 1366x768 TN
That's a 1080p wide gamut, you dunce.
>sandy bridge era cpu
Okay, then go one generation newer.

>1080p wide gamut
Which is still tn with awful viewing angles.

75% srgb coverage is not "wide gamut" retard.

>Which is still tn
Yes
>with awful viewing angles
No

>75% srgb coverage is not "wide gamut" retard.
It's 95% adobe

>No
Yes. I have two in my house right now. W520 with the high gamut auo panel. It's an awful panel plagued with eye cancer pwm flickering and terrible viewing angles. Instead of turning negative like traditional TN this panel washes out instead. I've been through the whole thinkpad phase and thankfully grew out of it.
