I'm still a fan of Arctic MX-4:

jewish cum, because it is used by Intel which is the best CPU company in the world.

Jokes aside this is what I use and it's very good.

Seconded.

Is the current highest performer in the non-conductive category
MX-4 is the easiest to apply, lasts the longest, and performs almost as good as TGK. Both of these posters are right, just from different angles.

$50

Holy fuckamoly

That's the most expensive listing on Newegg. 11g tubes can be had for ~$30 on Amazon and Newegg:

There are 1g tubes for much cheaper. That 11g tube will last you many, many applications. I'm not even halfway through mine, and I have replaced the paste on 3 GPUs and 5 CPUs. Will be using it for a Threadripper build in the fall and probably won't hit supply issues with even that.

The best thermal paste is Coolermaster Mastergel Maker Nano

consistently outperforms kryonaut thermal grizzly paste by 1C in benchmarks

Is this a gore thread now?

not gore, stable i7 4790k 5.0 Ghz overclock

How can you remove it ?

Gently squeeze it off with a vice. Actually they sell special vices for this now. Look around on trubitarforum / overclock.net / youtube. Some guys bang it with a block of wood and hammer... I prefer the vice method. Delidding with cool labs liquid ultra can radically improve temperatures.

i live by ocz freeze, too bad they don't sell it anymore.

Why the fuck did you put LM on the entire bottom of the ihs you dumb idiot

Noctua makes the best paste
Sorry grizzly niggers

>you dumb idiot
LM was applied directly to the die and to the lid.

before shows the die and inside of the lid with sloppy factory application: after shows the die and the outside of the lid with a clean application:
