You can change the appearance, dumbass. Really easily, I might add.
Mint.
So's your mom.
Any Ubuntu flavor with the DE of your choice
Ubuntu
debian with your choice of DE
or ubuntu
did you even bother googling this first
Ubuntu MATE
Just try Ubuntu, bro. Why the fuck do you think it's the most recommended Linux OS you probably heard out there?
Quit being an idiot.
>Ubuntu
+Just werks
-Gnome3 is bloated yet is deprived of functionality
>KDE Neon
+Literally just stable Ubuntu with KDE Plasma on top, so you get tons of functionality.
-Baloo and Kwin are unstable pieces of shit
Windows 10™
Why not try Solus? Budgie is pretty comfy
Fedora.
screw linux, install FreeBSD. much better daily driver if you want to avoid your linux box spontaneously breaking itself, requiring two hours of work every two weeks or month.
you do need to install your own DE though
>much better daily driver
>no hardware driveer
>FreeBSD
Backdoored
drivers*
not for brand-new stuff, true. but for any common hardware older than a few months, the hardware support is good, definitely less buggy than linux. any kernel autoupdate linux does has a 50% chance of breaking the drivers most nVidia graphics cards, and a good chance of screwing up the drivers for NICs.
once FreeBSD supports your hardware, it will never break spontaneously in classic linux fashion.
linux is way more backdoored brah
Ubuntu just works. Go with a DE like KDE or XFCE
xubuntu, any other answers are dumb trolls who dont have souls
>*buntu*
But cinnamon mint is literally ubuntu with a nicer DE.
Mint.
But with KDE.
macOS
Ubuntu
Mint, ubuntu, it's all the same really. They're built for this exact purpose
>it's ugly
Not even a problem as you are able to change anything you want.
Try Plan9/DragonFlyBSD
Also LTFS or musl/busybox linux like Sabotage.
>Ubuntu
