member when floppy disks were big

I'm a crypto-data scientist. I use blockchains to train deep neural networks on big data in the cloud.

Can you honestly explain to me what the problem is? I mean since we have huge amounts of data now can you not see the value in using that?

>all this new stuff is to confusing and dumb... back in my day i wrote code for the navy and secret service. we knew how to code back then. i coded code for bank servers and mechanical variable valve systems used to run the nuclear launch sequential inhibitor amplification systems and other stuff... you kids wouldn't understand. yall got it easy today ya wouldnt know what hard work was if it hit ya in the face i used to work 32 hours a dag 9 days a week 36 days a month 13 months a year

Just shitposting, user

Lets be real tho user the cloud is coming i work as a computer technician and i can tell you that a lot of laptops I repair from the younger people usually come linked with a drop box and very little on their HDD its coming. I would guess that we should be able to mirror and vm entire Operating systems before long.

big data is defined as data so humongous that a single node (computer) cannot deal with it.

think petabytes of Jow Forums logs that need to be sifted through by alphabet soup agencies, you just cant do it on a single machine

>We were trying to choose between MongoDB and CouchDB
>Yeah we have a LOT of customer data
>Almost a gigabyte now

huge amounts of data for what? better ads?

>AI

>Daily standups
>SDLC

surveillance, automated analysis etc.

already content on twatter is run through an anti-hatespeech filter. governments are getting serious hardons for all these advancements in automated surveillance technologies

>Computer technician
You mean that guy that works in a mom/pop computer repair shop.

That isn’t a meme, man. You probably have dozens of decentralized organisms in your country
