Contact the admin but only if you give a shit and you love chan culture. The project will celebrate a decade in 2020 and can be made much better with a sprinkle of love and care. If you're going to half-ass it, you might as well stay put.
I don't care much for chan culture so i won't bother but i wouldn't half ass it. I understand how important it is to keep a site like that running at all times while preserving their anonymity which would be my focus. i just have no interest in the community itself.
Hopefully they can find someone with the technical know how that does.

Perfectly understandable, user. It'll probably be hard to find someone with the technical expertise to maintain the project. I'm not sure how much it would compromise anonymity/security to have a website administrator and a community administrator, sounds much more complicated than it should be especially in such a small website.
