no its not its a buggy, vulnerability ridden pile of shit. It uses qWebkitEngine anyway so it's just as RAM hungry as chrome. Awesome idea for a browser, poor implementation.

I use qutebrowser cause it's so comfortable to use. if it had something like ublock and could handle more tabs better I would shill the fuck out of it, but it gets quite laggy when you have too many tabs.

Technically it's the same engine but I don't know what dark magic they used to make it fucking fly so smoothly and use so little memory. Right now I'm migrating my Chrome extensions to Opera, let's see if it still feels so smooth after that.
