I'd just like to interject for moment. What you're refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. As somebody that worked in Pajeet Land (Silicon Valley's South Bay) for 10 years, they love Windows and Notepad++ in fact they hate Linux because it just doesn't work. They're good at operating it, but that's why most advances in Linux come from white and Asian people. Because Pajeets don't like to work.

If Pajeets could they would switch the industry to Windows servers and don't care for the savings that Linux gives to companies.

You can get many Pajeets (cheap) and say you have a team, plus they're great for on-call rotation. They don't understand post mortems and will commute from long areas without a complain. So they never burn out or at least they don't complain about it.

They come here they get a Masters, it becomes easier to replace them. Because they should be capable. And so you have a fresh rotation of Pajeets until they move to a cheap state like North Carolina and such.
