optane doesn't make sense in non-local consumer applications

it's purpose is to add a substantial cache to large format hard drives, but server grade stuff is faster than ours by a large margin (6gbps vs 12gbps, minimum) and wouldn't benefit nearly as much because the controllers have had much larger caches for a long time. The last sas card I bought was running sas-2 and it still had 12gb of cache

You think stock price is everything when there's dozens of other metrics out there that non retarded people use to evaluate going concern. Cash flows, balance sheet, EV, EVA, etc. Pic related is just 1 example.

Stock price is just a reflection of future shareholder earnings expectations. It's loosely based off assumptions that are obtained from mainly public and some private information. Same reason why we see stock prices spike immediately after a dividend announcement even though financial position hasn't changed at all.
