Probably once every couple of years

Installing Gentoo is fun, so I reinstall it every now and then. If it wasn't fun, I wouldn't do that - it's stable enough that it's never been necessary.

Only boomers need to constantly reinstall their OS because they fuck it up from torrenting games full of malware, install shady addons, run flash player and modify the system settings without knowing what it actually does but do it anyway because some website said it will make windows faster

On my desktop I do a clean install for every second Fedora release, so about 12 months. On my other machines (where making backups takes less time) I do it for every release.

I never have any of those problems and I always find my pc is faster after a format
