Windows 7 lightweight

I've got a huge problem.
I've got 8 gigs of RAM and I have to run some programs that needs close to 8 gigs to run.(one of them is Vivado where I have a huge design)

I need a windows 7 clean installation without the useless services, without hogging up my RAM.
I've been searching the interwebz for 2 days and all I find is some shitskin made windows aero blue lite edition which is utter crap due to changed icons, custom theme and only 50mb lighter than the classic.
I have no idea what's going on with windows due to being exclusively on loonix.

do you have any debloated edition to suggest?

windows 7 only takes 1.4gb of my ram what are u doing

>debloated edition of windows
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHA

that's too much.
I am already at 1.15GB when I shutdown some useless services.
If you turn off some parts of svhost and the rest of the bloat, it should fall somewhere to 800MB.
that's what I am targeting.

>Install gentoo
I've been using debian since etch was testing.

i'll check it. thanks man.

Check this:

Follow the "Safe" column. Note there's a "Next" page button.
Also disable these. (screenshot)

Use something like Simplix Pack or WSUS offline to avoid telemetry updates.

For activation use Windows Loader (by Daz) or Microsoft Toolkit. Find both on MDL forums.

last usefull version of windows was windows XP.
almost zero bloat,
lean design,
zero unnecessary daemons
services only for the basic stuff,

then windows7 come.
they fix the x64 problems,
they fix the networking and fs problems
they support a shitload of crap
but
you have useless memory hogging daemons,
several programs that send telemetry,
and a lot of unnecessary services that start by default and hog your PC.
I am just looking to achieve windows XP level of bloat with windows 7.

great stuff.
I am downloading archive.org/details/Win7LiteEditions2017
the pro lite version and burning it to a USB.
I'll apply those to the fresh install.

What's stopping you?

Don't butcher the OS. Install the clean ISO I gave you, activate it, then use those guides.

>I need a windows 7 clean installation without...

Stop being poor and buy another 8GB.

What's wrong with you? I've got 4 gb of RAM on my Windows 7 and it works fine.

Use vivado on linux.

can't.
I have a shitload of tcl scripts that are written with cmd specific commands.
not my fault.
