I also own a B25 too, OP. Ever tried to use it as a daily? I did that one day, it's comfy but impractical because I need to use certain social (((apps))) as required by my job, and those are available only for smartphones.

i dont work construction, just wanted a durable non thin phone... that being said, i have used the thermal camera A LOT as a party trick, and twice for actual diagnosis. once for filming an audio amp that was malfunctioning to send to the manufacturur. the second time was to diagnose a misfiring cylinder that was running cold on a motorcycle

i have had two of the s60's. (the first one had a faulty simcard door that wouldnt click close, went swimming with it, water got in after about an hour. the second one has a deffinate click, is ACTUALLY waterproof). The first camera was a bit more clear than the second one. not quite sure why. the camera app on the phone takes good photos, but snapchat looks like a potato took the photo.
before you ask, no snapchat cant use the thermal cam

I currently use a Nokia 7610, and looking for a keyed-phone until the Surface Phone comes out.

I don't want it to be flimsy. I first looked at the retro phones of Nokia, but they look and are said to be flimsy as hell.

I looked at Energizer, but they have some android shit, and I don't like that.

How are the CAT phones? Do they run android? If you've used Nokias similar to 7610 before, how would you compare CAT phones to them?

My only two problems with this Nokia 7610 is that both its ear- and loud-speaker are terrible. I'd guess that its microphone is also trash, possibly due to aging. My carrier, I think, transmits audio better through 4G LTE.

My other problem is that I have a large data usage bundled to my plan, and I cannot utilize that. I wouldn't browse through a phone, but I'd like to use it as a hotspot. Is that possible on CAT phones? Are they even 4G LTE?

I'm a mechanical engineer working in a plant. S8 is water resistant. In an otterbox it lasted about 8 months. I think I see more chemicals and water that a civil would.
