yes
keep this in the /sqt/

why do you need to ask every 2 days OP.

it is top of the consumer line, obviously it wlil suffice

No, in some games that prefer high clock speeds you'll hit a wall at around 100~120hz

What do you need 8 cores for?

No, it's the one application ryzen loses to intel significantly.
Either step up to 1440p/144hz where you'll be bottlenecked by gpu and buy ryzen, or go with 8700k.

2700x average fps in games is 152 so you're a faggot lying shill

back to your safespace, kid

Fuck yeah, go for it. Don't listen to these fags.

This is your home

Yes. Don't fall for jewish diseased cores.

>OP clearly intends to play games
>hurr back to /v/
Brainlet.

no

No go for the 8600k. Better and cheaper for your needs.

>8600k
Fucking kys

Yes it works perfectly fine.

Anything above 100FPS is meme-tier anyway.

>y-you don't n-need more t-than 100f-fps
perfect amdrone response

No, it won't suffice for any monitor as it has no integrated gpu. You would either have to get 2200/2400G or an Intel cpu

AMD fangay here, the 2700X will be fine in most older games for that res/frequency, but won't get to those frames on games that aren't properly optimized, like most of today's releases. If you want that for a game such as CSGO or some shit, the 2700X is perfectly fine.
For newer shit, you should probably go with the 8700K, not gonna lie. But do expect to pay more for a proper cooler, and maybe the delid, or you risk not being able to overclock as much as the 8700K and get the same performance as a 2700X, with 2 less cores.
This is all assuming you have at least a Vega64 or 1080. If you have anything lower than that, CPU choice probably doesn't matter to begin with, you'll never get those frames in newer games anyway, unless you're turning down settings.

>or you risk not being able to overclock as much as the 8700K
as much as the 8700K can*
