Can I do all my art work in pirated Adobe products, save them as projects, buy the software for 1 month and then publish the final work in the licensed versions by opening the projects made in the pirated versions? Is this a good idea or would they catch on? Would they care really (It's for commercial use)? Making my art is going to take much longer than a month so it'll be too expensive that way and I can't afford it.
Can I do all my art work in pirated Adobe products, save them as projects...
Unless you're a large enough company they are not going to come after you for using pirated adobe software.
whats the difference between a png exported by legit photoshop vs pirated
also the current crack method for all adobe products is to extend the trial indefinitely so for all intent and purposes pirated is identical to legit
I need to update my software again from Premiere CC 2015 to 2018 version
Don't wanna become part of the botnet though by downloading something full of trojans
Where the fuck do you get clean pirated software these days anyway
Just because Adobe provides the tools doesn't mean they have the author's rights to the work you've done. They can only really go after you for illegally acquiring and using a copy of their software. If you work professionally that's easier for them to do because you expose yourself publicly.
>I need to update my software again from Premiere CC 2015 to 2018 version
For what purposes? Editing processes haven't changed in decades.
i have to use a cracked copy of fireworks cs6 because fuck you i cant do cc, and after effects cs6 is the last version with the ram preview i like and it doesnt use a bad export method for mp4 using quicktime, which i dont have on my system nor do i want it, and comes prepackaged with h264 for youtube.
i dont do anything professionally, but id imagine you wont have any real issues.
Adobe introduced motion graphics and a much much better text editor to Premiere recently, I can't go back to the old versions after using that now
>motion graphics
use after effects it will blow your mind
>introduced motion graphics and a much much better text editor
That's not what an NLE is for. Get yourself video animation software, like After Effects. Even initial versions from years past will be do it better than any current Premiere.
Metadata.
Just erase the it?
it takes 2 seconds to strip it
Fuck upload it to Jow Forums and the site does it for you
There's more, they can tell what software was used by analyzing the art.
Thanks for advice. I know AE is far superior, but using MOGRT templates saves a lot of time and I don't have to learn a new skillset. I can just use dozens of templates out there instead of spending hours making my own animated text and graphics.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the way you would approach making a video that uses AE animations would be to use the dynamic link to import the sequence into premiere where you compile the entire video?
The machines I work on don't really have enough RAM to use AE and Premiere at the same time or work well with creating motion graphics in AE.
Thoughts? Is it worth me spending a week learning how to use AE and making my own stuff?
you export the vid in AE and import it, there is a "dynamic link" function but it's really not worth it for whay you said, loads of RAM ussage.
Over all I'd say yes learn AE if you are doing videos on the regular, slowly but surely. What kind of videos do you do?
Sports montages, behind the scenes stuff, music videos, branded content on instagram/facebook as well.
who are "they"?
definitely, you should learn AE, it has so much potential for video editing
just pirate it nigga
(((them))) obviously
>AE
Literally can't use more than one core
I didn't know that, what are the alternatives thouhg?
Buy a Macbook Pro and install Final Cut Pro
check'd, I'll pass
The Adobe police. They'll sue me if they find out that I used their product specifically for commercial use and payed them jack shit.
I heard once, that one dude was making shot films plenty of them. He got sucessful and got prices and recognicement. Tha'ts when the adobe police knocked on his door, to congratulate him for his success, and inform him that it might be time for him to buy licenses.
But don't take my word for it. This was in spain.
Can you read, "nigga"?
just pirate it, honestly fuck adobe and their subscription model bullshit.
I can do that, I just want to know if they'll find out or not.
not if you block everything properly in your firewall, just make sure to not allow anything adobe related phoning home and you should be golden, then when you start making some decent cash you can always buy their subscription thing.
How do you think the plan in the OP will work? Technically, I am buying the subscription but it's not for as long as I should.
No idea if that will work, i have no idea if they can check if a file was made with a pirated version at all.
if you're that paranoid, just get the subscription service for two months so you can finish your stuff and make the money to pay for the adobe stuff.
or pirate it and just use it as much as you want.
convert uglyart.png -strip uglyart2.png
My art is not ugly, faggot and it's not the metadata I'm concerned about. I'm sure that a big corporation like Adobe will have some way of determining whether a photo was made in Illustrator or if a certain video graphic was made in AE and then suing the person who used their cracked/stolen products for anything more than personal use. Actually using it for personal use is illegal as well but I'm sure they don't care too much about that.
bump for curiosity
Adobe does add metadata concerning what application the file was file exported from. Because each file format stores that metadata differently, to remove it, you'd have to use different programs. For png you can use pngcrush or optipng. For video files, consider rewrapping the video using ffmpeg and leaving out any metadata.
