>is there a more communistic piece of consumer hardware than this business class laptop that was mainly used by capitalists and American intelligence officers.

DELET

Sure, every computer that fails from a hardware perspective

>hardware has political ideology
a thread died for this, sage

Computers are produced by capitalists. OP confirmed retarded shitskin.

>piece of technology reclaimed from capitalists
>resold as refubrished communists goods for dirt cheap
>rebuild to support glorious GPL and GNU/something
Its orgin only makes it sound more historically accurate.

>Thinkpads
>Not the most hyper-capitalistic hardware in history.

>we're going to RECLAIM this from the ebul capitalists
>by giving them (even if they are refurb resellers) money and shilling their brand!

Honestly, no. I believe Lenovo is sponsored by the Chinese communist state. It is actually something I think about when purchasing and using new ThinkPads. I try not to do business with chinks in general because I don't want to support them with my business and they are generally a bit deceptive and cheap.
That said, ThinkPads are some of the best made laptops. Dell Latitudes are comparable. I'm writing this on a used T440p that I will be swapping out for a Dell Latitude 5495 (Ryzen 2500U) laptop soon. I prefer Dell as it is American owned, but it hasn't fostered the community and shills that the ThinkPad has.
I wouldn't blame a consumer for getting a ThinkPad as they are high quality American designed products (IBM invented the line and sold them to the Chinese). But I simply prefer doing my business with Dell, a (mostly) American owned company. Dell then in turn gives my money to Pajeets in India for poo-tier customer support.

>reclaimed
You have to actually create something before it can be taken from you.

I TOO ONLY BUY 100% AMERICAN PRODUCTS LIKE APPLE AND IPHONE AND MACINTOSH

Why are thinkpads even a topic of discussion on here? Is it like that wojak drinking a Monster meme, free advertising for corporations.

Most of Dell's stuff is made in some Asian region anyways as well. Its still better than Lenovo.
Lenovo was literally founded by someone in the Chinese Communist party. Lenovo initially struggled as a company when it was founded because a lot of them were communists who had no market experience and felt that capitalism was evil and immoral. Lenovo as a history of having corrupt executives and many were fired by the founder for this. This goes back to the unsavory ethics the Chinese have to cheat and get ahead. Its a real thing.
Dell is not exempt of scandals though. They've been caught colluding with Intel to shut out AMD in the past and some suspect that is continuing to this day. Intel is suspect as well.
I guess its a personal preference most major tech companies will have something off about them.
I'd sooner buy an Apple than a Xiaomi or some other brand that is designed with stolen intellectual property. Chinks are disgusting to me.

Thinkpads are the epitome of free market ideals.
>a successful alternative to popular and shit hardware
>Old as shit hardware that still functions well in the modern day
>multiple large secondary markets created for customising and reselling thinkpads
This machine kills communists

>I'd sooner buy an brand that is designed with stolen intellectual property than a brand that is designed with stolen intellectual property

That's not communism that's just good marketing.

How would user r8 the x60t for drawing? Assuming you're a drawfag who's used a wacom tablet?

Lmao TPBP

>Glorifying Jewish companies like Dell
>Racist
makes perfect sense to me.

TIL.
Still better than commie (jew) chinks. I'm not racist, just racial. Go back to your safe space.

>Why are thinkpads even a topic of discussion on here?

Hello newfag, how is shilling decade-old hardware free advertising?

Isn't Lelnopo setting up a factory in NC?

I think thats just a portion of the TP infrastructure that came with the IBM deal. Not sure though. But That doesn't make it an American owned and ran company. They're downstream from Lenovo software and updates. I know a lot of the ThinkPad management stayed in place during the transition to Lenovo too. But that was years ago.
This is my personal preference as I'm not friendly towards Communism / Socialism. So take from it what you will. The ThinkPad line is still a well made laptop as far as I can tell. Although, the used models are the ones people like the most.
For newer stuff, I just go Dell they're all just thin laptops at this point with slightly different ergonomics or chasis. The consumer market is a shit show of cheap hardware though.
But to answer OP's question, there is probably no other company with roots in Communism as deep as Lenovo.
There was a scandal a couple years ago where Lenovo's consumer line was found to be pushing aggressive analytics/software through its updater on Windows in an overly aggressive way to laptops that got it in hot-water.
