this makes me sad
not that I didn't know before or it makes me stop eating meat but I think it's wrong that they are in horror in their last seconds
they clearly are in fear, the second cow there definitely noticed the other dead cow hanging from the ceiling being dead and tried everything she could to flee

there could be a better way

does it really matter, why should we concern ourselves with how the cow feels?

isn't that just humane?
why do we care how other people feel?
>inb4 edgy response "I don't"
there are people who are getting paid to tend to elderly people who are also "about" to die just so they don't feel helpless and alone
this has no additional value either, just like caring about an animals feelings, but we still do it
why?

>inb4 edgy
>old people are cattle
ok

>not stroggification.webm

>does it really matter, why should we concern ourselves with how the human feels?

don't worry I think that old people > cattle too but I still think that animals are not entirely wothless beings and not worth any thought
we don't have to send them a therapist or massagist before they die to calm them down but just ->not make them fucking tremble in horror in their last seconds

that's a reasonable position
>666
hmm

DID HE DIED

> Animal about to get processed to be eaten, in the most efficient way possible
OH BOOHOO ITS SO SCARY FOR A COW!

What are you, some faggot pajeet?

>that edge
*snap*

makes me sad

There is an issues with a cow fearing stuff before they die. Hypertension ruins the meat

That's only what vegans say. Chinamen always beat dogs before they kill them, they say it enhances the flavour.

>be cow
>live in fields, occasional rough winter in sheds
>ne'er knew much else really, overall breddy gud
>get lassoed and gathered into a truck like plenty other times
>we're going to the vet for some shots right?
>chat about how tender the alfalfa was yesterday with old friend maxine
>maxine gets into the station first
>moo good luck
>hear several wallops
>no biggy, maybe she slipped
>hear whirring
>is a truck taking each of us home after the vaccinations?
>reach station, maxine isn't around
>doctor billy-bob is coming up with an awfully large syringe
>oi doc that's definitively gonna hurt
>doc tries to get the syringe on me mug
>oi doc that ain't where the syringe goes, you'll hit the bone, try somewhere meaty, dummy
>maxine floats by hanging limp from her arse
>o fugg no
>doc wat r u doin
>doc pls
>stahp

I wanna try Chinese dog now

Attached: 1530531212082.jpg (680x471, 36K)

Chinamen aren't human.

Ask hunters, the best meat comes from a quick and clean kill.
You don't want the deer running around freaking out for 5 minutes while it slowly bleeds to death.

There is, it's called hunting.

Attached: 1520108791985.gif (377x372, 3.46M)

They also eat gutter oil.

9/10
Could be funnier

Yes, fearless death makes tended meat. Just because of that

youtube.com/watch?v=RdmIe6qVG6I

Edginess is never going away is it? Fuck

If you're upset at this but eat meat you're a massive hypocrite.

Attached: stoopid.gif (800x594, 3.53M)

i highly doubt you have the emotional flexibility to sociopathically feel NOTHING when an animal senses and fears death and yet feel SOMETHING when a human senses and fears death.

you can't just equate cattle with humans to make a pseudo argument. I'm asking why should we care what cows feel?

thing can barely stand yet in just a few seconds still managed to destroy everything within a 20 foot radius *and it wasnt even trying*

I only eat game.

>live in fields
youre so fucking ignorant

This kills the crab

Attached: crabby-stabby.webm (426x240, 928K)

you could like, you know, stop eating meat

spoken like a true psychopath

every day you give your money in support of this. either stop supporting it, or stop acting like you don't

>you can't just equate cattle with humans
why not?

guys I'm actually fucking scared of this
not because "muh cruelty" or anything, but because I kinda liked watching it die
immediately after I felt sad though, what the fucking fuck is wrong with my goddamn brain?

When humans hunt animals in the wild there's a small chance of the prey escaping through its own strength and will. When the cattle gets herded into that facility its death is a 100% certainty. The cow experiences absolute helplessness and you empathize.

Cows do not experiance that at all and can not discern a difference.

this is your mind on veganism kids.

yes they do experience that. they have mammilian brains, which is more than anyone can say about you.

vegans point out psychopaths? k

This is the price we pay for delicious meat. You can empathize with the cow and still eat it later.

you can also choose not to eat meat and stop supporting the brutal killing of sentient beings

this kills the crab

god i wish that were me/10

Sure. You can also eat them. I'm just saying empathizing with it does not make you a hypocrite.

>brutal
What is less brutal than a quick bolt to the brain?

>sentient beings
debatable

extremely painful/10

Being a mammal has nothing to do with the fact that cows lack the ability to discern any difference between the two scenarios.

inferior to this

Attached: crab_machine2.webm (1280x720, 2.78M)

Depends on the farm, user. It's pretty common for cows to live in fields.

>can try to run away
or
>can't try to run away

We eat animals.
Get over it you faggots. Nobody is forcing you to eat anything either, just starve.

Imagine being so stupid you think a cow is capable of such a nuanced thought.

Imagine being such a fucking moron you think they aren't.

This is usually for dairy cows or high grade beef. Your typical cheap hamburger patty or ground beef cow is not from a field.

Hahaha I too have seen 'I have no mouth bust I must scream'

>ugh science is getting in the way of me feeling bad
What is the cows thoughts on Tabula Rasa?

Why do they get agitated? Are they afraid of the slaughterer?

Probably because it smells like death and they have no space to move

Yes, this is correct. There's no reason Maxine and the other cow from the greentext couldn't have lived in fields and sheds on a small (relatively) not so industrial farm.

I can not tell when exactly the cow dies?

this is why you raise and breed them so close to the slaughterhouses. Its like going home after an exhausting day at work. it just feels right

I wish we were in the same room so that I could physically demolish you and then rape you. You couldn't do a thing about it if I wanted to, because I eat meat and you don't. I'd probably nut on your unconcious post-anal-rape face too. Would be a good way to remind you that life is suffering and empathy is a quick route to death.

Attached: Crab Rollercoaster.webm (640x360, 2.91M)

It doesn't die in the clip. It's knocked unconscious.

They seem calm until the operator approaches though.

The first cow dies at 5 seconds when the worker puts the cattle gun to her head.

If it's a penetrating style cattle gun then it should (99% of the time) kill the cow on the first go.

You get a clear view of the top of the animal's head shortly after that and there doesn't seem to be any hole.

Just because something upsets me on a knee-jerk emotional level doesn't mean I'm going to throw logic out the window and base all my decisions on that gut reaction.

Imagine being so retarded that you think a mammal can't understand the fact of being unable to escape.

American education

Yes. An animal is making a philosophical distinction between two types of death.
But that begs the question. Why isn't calmly accepting it's fate?

You don't really get a clear view of anything in that video.
Those things leave a rather small hole, about 9mm in diameter, and a very clean hole at that too.
Between the video's resolution and compression artifacts, I bet you the hole isn't visible because it's obscured by both of these factors.

Would you calmly accept your fate if you were captured and strapped to a table to be shot?

>In order to tell the difference between an orange and an apple, one must understand what an apple is
But that's wrong.

meat is murder

>life is suffering and empathy is a quick route to death.
