How will AMD respond to the 9900k absolutely blowing the 2700x out of the water?
How will AMD respond to the 9900k absolutely blowing the 2700x out of the water?
not being expensive as fuck
Isnt 9900 the HEDT part?
By being coolable
by hitting the 5nm barrier first and creating the most powerful non quantum processors possible
8 cores at 195w, nice meme
Nope, 9900k is going on the z390 consumer platform, estimated around 450 USD.
no, it's the only part with HT on the semi consumer-hedt platform
sweclockers.com
These tests are incorrect?
By releasing the 3700x which will shit on Intel's 14nm+++++++ house fire
>Assuming a linear scale
Nice try, that shit is going to suck back 280w if you can keep it from throttling.
>jews still consider $450 cpu consumer tier
i7-6900k.png
I don't speak cuckoldry.
>being poor
topjej if you build costs less than $2000 there's no point in living
>Software readings
Now if we just use a multimeter...
by having SMT
by having node parity
by having scalability via IF
by having DRAM costs come down
by having processors more conformant to security spec and not having an OoOE disaster
by having superior GPUs on die
Multimeters are antisemitic goyim, delid dis
>Price/performance doesn't matter!
>>>reddit.com/r/apple
>Intel's hyperthreading exploit was so unfixable that they dropped HT from i7's completely
>and they'll still keep on jizzing on the wafer instead soldering IHS, even on their top end chip
What a fucking joke of a company
You'd literally have to be braindead to buy this
I regret buying a Skylake i5 so fucking much, i swear those kikes won't ever get another cent out of me
Oy vey
AMD BTFO for a few months
20% higher clock rate, 30% higher IPC
it'll be 50% faster on the same number of cores lol
To this end, we found that, at a given frequency of 4.0GHz, our R7 2700X held stable at 1.175V input at LLC level 4, which equated to 1.162V VCore at SVI2 TFN. The result was stability in Blender and Prime95 with torturous FFTs, while measuring at about 129W power consumption in Blender. For this same test, our 1700 at 4.0GHz required a 1.425V input at LLC level 5, yielding a 1.425VCore, a 201W power draw – so 70W higher – and pushed thermals to 79 degrees Tdie. That’s up from 57.8 degrees Tdie at the same ambient.
9900k will be soldered.

>for a few months
Kek
>LLC level 4
>On AM4 crosshair
Pants on head retarded. LLC4 on the crosshair is for suicide LN2 runs - the overhsoot on that setting is absolutely staggering and setting (say) 1.35v in the bios can result in the chip being fed over 1.5v with such an aggressive LLC setting.
Asus own overclocking guide doesn't suggest anything over LLC3 unless you want to enter the danger zone.
>Thinks power scaling is linear when increasing mhz.
It's going to be x299 all over again where these 8core chips push huge all core turbos and melt sockets. It'll be "fine" with decent motherboards and 360mm rads in reviews, but this shit is pushing the consumer parts to the absolute limit.
>8 cores in 2006 + 12
At this rate we'll never reach the singularity. Come on guys, put some more cores on there!
>Yes goy, we'll do a proper job if you buy the most expensive CPU in our lineup, otherwise just enjoy the cum we put in there, you poorfag!
>30% higher IPC
Are you fucking stupid?
By not requiring a fire extinguisher.
sorry, it is closer to 40%
Does your tiny brain think all LLC settings are comparable? On a crosshair you set it to level 5 and it flatlines your voltage at what you set.
By releasing the 7nm 3700x.
Yes, they are. See /plebbit/Intel - they echo chamber 30%-60% IPC benefit as their primary coping mechanism.
it's the same arch you moron
it's literally still skylake, there is barely a 5% increase since skylake the clockspeed is just higher
>not using the heat from the condensers to heat up amd wojak's room
one job user.
that's how bad zen is lmao
I don't see your point - the sauce lists then using the crosshair boards and that is the behavour of LLC level 4 on a crosshair board.
> flatlines your voltage at what you set.
The overshoot is absolutely staggering. My 1700 on the hero 6 has taken soem serious punishment due to me fucking about with LLC when stress testing.
>Everything is linear because mspaint
The Intlel rajakesh shekelstein butthurt is so good, too bad Threadripper 2 will invalidate intel's DUDE CHECK THIS MOAR COARZ DISEASED CPOO meme.
>Overshoot on level 5
You're full of shit
In 6 months ryzen 2 in 7nm.
Plus stock problems in launcher intel.
With a processor that's as powerful as Intel's previous generation that takes more electricity.
The absolute state of AMD poorfag delusion.
>Underage newfag meme
>Blindly supporting intel
It all checks out
The same way they responded to the EE pentium 4.
>estimated around 450 USD.
Coffee Lake is already better than anything Zen+ has to offer in gaming. 8c16t at 5GHz gonna bankrupt them hard.
Incel

No 10nm server chips until 2020.
AMD 7nm fuck them in 2019
I could not help but notice you re-used this merchant image from the /pcbg/ thread. Perhaps you don't have enough merchants.
For five easy payments of $5.99 I can offer you this exclusive merchant meme. So what do you say? It's only $28.99 if you pay now, just for you friend.
Whaddya mean it's only 960p? Oy the chutzpah of these goyim! No fucking refunds.
Damn that's a really nice merchant, mind if I save it
You'll hear from my lawyer for this!
