What are you on about now faggot?

Firefox can also be vim-like made.

VIMPERATIOR FOR example
addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/vimperator/

Install Gentoo, and rtorrent.

What's a better option? Deluge?

The options go:
µTorrent 2.2.1
µTorrent 2.0.4
µTorrent 1.8.5
µTorrent 1.6.1
then everything else is kinda in a jumble at the bottom.

kys wintard

What, doesn't Linux have a subsystem for Windows like Windows has a subsystem for Linux?

qBittorrent is better

>known leaked vulnerabilities
>closed source
Sure, friend.

Of course it did.
He made a meguka that can turn back time and this did all sorts of fuckups.

At stalling

Never happened to me. Stop memeposting, fag.

What never happened?

>µTorrent 2.2.1
>µTorrent 2.0.4
>µTorrent 1.8.5
>µTorrent 1.6.1

I sincerely hope you guys don't do this.

Think for a second and you should come into the answer.

Well there's really no reason to use all 4 at the same time. Just pick the one you like best.

Answer the question.

The torrent being stalled, unless it got no seeders.
Honestly, what's the point of this? I still didn't get the joke.

How do you know it has no seeders?

That like trying to use Firefox 2.0 in 2018.
Just stop,it isn't any better using the old version.

When the tracker or the client reports it, like anyone would do.

>Stalled
Yeah if there aren't any seeds.
>Perpetuating this forced meme
I've been using qbtorrent for years now. Works like a champ.

What has changed in the torrent protocol since it was released?

The old version has no ads and no vulnerabilities.

>is being told his client has shit connectivity
>client doesn't connect to anyone
>"IT MUST MEAN THERE"S NO ONE THERE!"

Have you considered that you client may just have shit connectivity?

what's a torrent client that has search, without I having to look into websites myself?

>blaming a torrent client for your shit public trackers

Never had any problem, since the trackers that I use are always filled up of seeders. You should check your sources and use decent trackers instead of blaming the client.

use rtorrent like a white man

It's amazing how not many people know how torrents work on a technology board.

qBittorrent.

>use qBittorrent
>no seeds on torrent
>switch to uTorrent 2.2.1
>suddenly a seed.

Not the tracker's problem that qBittorrent can't find peers.

excuse me for not knowing the intricate details of every meme protocol

Prove that this happens. Never happened for me and I switched from uTorrent 2.2.1 to qBit 3.6.something. I probably I would notice the problem, since I used both clients at the same time before completely changing it.

For the desktop BiglyBT.
For desktop or server, transmission.

This was 3.6.12 (I think).

Attached: qSLOW3.png (1685x459, 34K)

I forgot. If you can accept closed source, Tixati.

qB would only connect to one seed. uT happily connected to all 3.

In nyaa looks like that weren't any issue. Have you checked any position from passthepopcorn's administration?

Attached: 1525926677219.jpg (587x587, 53K)

313KB/s vs 3.1MB/s says there's a bit of an issue.

PTP has nothing to do with client connectivity. It's peer-to-peer. IIRC the peer IPs were in the qBiitorrent peer list and one of them would pop up in and out, but it would never lock on and start downloading.
2.2.1 was slow to connect to them, but other than the lag in the initial connection there wasn't a problem.

You're tech illiterate.

Peers don't seed. Peers are leechers. Seeders ars the ones who seed. Stalled happens when there are no seeders. A torrent client won't affect your "connectivity" unless you've enabled throttling, which you've probably done because you are seriously autistic. Learn something about networking and the OSI layers before you want to sperg about something. And it's funnt as shit that you keep making these threads without any proof. No seriously, they're so funny, because we're totally laughing with you and not at you.

>he thinks all clients connect the same
Try uTorrent prior to 1.6 and get back to me.

Is it just me or is qutebrowser awful for watching videos? They keep freezing. Also it uses tons of battery. It's a shame as it provides the best vim-like interface compared to other browsers. I've resorted to using firefox with vim plugins.

Has anyone tried vimb?

What the fuck? someone's bot really is dense.

Same shit happens here.
qBittorrent = Trying to download a torrent from a private tracker so I can see the list of seeders on the site. Yes, there wasn't a lot of seeders, but there were some. It stood there, stalled for fucking days.
I decided to try another client.
TransmissionQT = works
Tixati = works
Right now I'm on Linux using Ktorrent and even this works better than qBittorrent.
And that's a shame, because I like qBittorrent's UI.

*freezes and almost crashes when opening torrent or magnet link*

>using a shit tier torrent program

>used Tixati
Expect a ban soon.

>shit argument
Ok. I tested every single stalled torrent on 3 different clients and none of them could download the torrent because nobody was seeding. So muh stalled meme is just retarded. If you want a more "reliable" client then;
Linux: rTorrent or Transmission
Windows: picoTorrent or Transmission

I have a stalled torrent in qBittorrent. It had full availability and a few seeds but wouldn't download at all. Now the availability changed to exactly what I have downloaded so maybe that was the broken bit. I'm on 3.3.15 though.

I mean, I just don't get it. What's the benefit of using old uTorrent versions? Does it offer some special functionality over newer torrent clients? All I see is some old software with known (avoidable) vulnerabilities, but what about those that are unknown based on the closed-source nature of it?

Dream job desu. I'd love to just go around and do essentially nothing but talk about the history of free software (aka, my life's story).

Who gave qbasic a modern logo?

works on my machine

it's just a meme for people who can't let go of utorrent
there was an update that changed the UI and people didn't like it so they stuck with the old version. as time went on they retroactively created bullshit reasons why it was technically better too.
no one should be using any version of utorrent in currentyear

these threads are always hilarious because you can smell that one qb edgy dev who always defends this pile of shit

So what nigger?
Don'ttell me you haven't inSTALLED proper STALLING software.

Low IQ subhumans like you shouldn't be allowed to post on Jow Forums.

Is it ridiculously resource intensive like vuze?

Same.
Ever since I've switched to qBit I've never had any problems.
