Its because they hit a all-time high peak. For certain interest, that means they've had their share of the cake and want to cash in. Some people place artificial limits on their stock gains so they don't get too greedy. The terms is "low risk low reward" type investors.
If you've looked at their stock lifetime, there's no stopping it. Even negative news barely causes shorts who lose out and bulls pick it right back up and profit from those.
