Arch really isn't that hard. Just:
>connect to internet
>mount /dev/yourdrive /mnt
>pacstrap /mnt base
>do a bunch of other shit
>(install a few basinc things like wifi-menu (dialog + wpa_supplicant) while chrooted into your new install
A lot of the stuff listed in the install page isn't even that important. You really just need to install the base packages, and youll have a working install.

And of course install grub, and make a user. Everything else isn't pertinent to a working install, and if a problem occurs, you can google it and fix them in like 5 mins.
