Are you from reddit?

Might want to invest in a GPU with 2D acceleration grandpa, this is 1992+26.

Software developers are out of touch with the needs of the common man.

>launch any modern web browser
>CPU or RAM usage: 100%

>in firefox now
>look down at usage table
>all cores are pretty much idle, one will spike to less than 20% every few seconds
having a weak cpu must be suffering

>one will spike to 20% every few seconds
This is unironically a sign of a hidden cpu miner, i'd encourage you to do some cleanup user

>On loonux
>Open a bunch of Jow Forums tabs
>Suddenly hear fan start after 5 mins
>Turns off after a while

I have nothing else active. Does Jow Forums have embedded miners?

Even freetards managed to get compositing, wtf are you using

not him but that wouldn't surprise me desu

Just tested it, went from 8% to 50%.

What the fuck?

>superfetch kills your hhd while launching a game

>Linux general

I just flailed a window around with video and graphics, and never broke 12%.
I've also got a bunch of other crap open.

Are you using a system from 2006 or something?

>he uses a floating windows manager

>fresh install of windows
>random CMD window keeps popping up and disappearing

>28c ambient temp
>undervolt laptop just to idle at 40c

there is nothing wrong with using a pentium in 2018

but I don't use GNOME

Yes, why aren't you running ublock?

I didn't say there was, I just recommended a 2D accelerated graphics card. Even my old 486 shitbox has 2D acceleration with it's video card in Win3.1.

Are you on raspberry pi?

That's what I thought at first too
But it's just Firefox being a mess
It doesn't happen if you restart Firefox every hour or so

Its on a laptop so I don't have much options
on my raspberry pi it lags even more than my 2000s laptop with 512mb ram.
You would think it wouldn't be that expensive to add some graphic capability to the pi.

You have to separately enable GL and GLX on the Pi.

Cute cat

>cat
Wtf are you blind? Cats don't eat fruit, it's clearly a bear.

>bears eat fruit
haha, American education, everybody!
only bees eat fruit for honey
