Can someone explain their ridiculously aggressive marketing?
Those kinds of adverts are great and all, when marketing to gamers. But these are ads are for their server stuff, marketing toward professionals.
Do they just not know how to market servers because they have been selling to gamers for so long?
Or does marketing matter less when it comes to servers? I'm assuming customers will just look at the specs-performance and make a decision based on that, but if so then why would AMD use this hyper aggressive edgy marketing?

A lot of times the people who buy these things aren't particularly smart, unless your CTO is trusted the beancounter in charge will decide what hardware to get.

Aggressive advertisement works for everything not only for gaming.
Telling people that your competitor is actual retard worked in favour of Coke for so many years it's not even funny.

>Or does marketing matter less when it comes to servers?
Basically. So long as they know you have a product, they will consider it vs Intel. The server market has been fucked in the arse by Intel for too long.

>Can someone explain their ridiculously aggressive marketing?
Easily: when you don't lie, when you do do dirty underhanded practices such as bribing news and reviewing outlets/channels, when you actually DELIVER greatly on your promises - people respect you and gladly give you their money. This leads to attainability of legitimacy when it comes down to producing aggressive marketing that directly attacks competition. In other simpler words - at this current time being the have absolutely all rights and reasons to do this. After being underwhelming underdogs for so long, they've now literally arose like a phoenix from ashes, turning themselves into beautiful white swans from dirty black ducks, so it's only natural that they're riding fully onto upon this momentum. It's a historical moment you're people witnessing right now. For AMD, this is a moment that surpasses even K6 and K8. For Intel it's an absolute disaster and a complete repetition of NetBUUUUURRRRRRRRst with Pentium 4.

>Rome was designed to compete favorably with “Ice Lake” Xeons, but it is not going to be competing against that chip.

Ohh boy, I can't wait to see Intlel's FUD slides next year. No wonder why JUSTnich was doing damage control so early.

Wait, did Inturd just kill off those? Did I miss that?
ABSOLUTE HOLOCAUST

How they didn't get sued is a mystery.

10nm won't be ready on time, they will release another 14nm Skylake instead.

Looks like the AMD shills will be getting a bonus. Surely they haven't been doing this here for free all this time?

Why do they have the same marketing for gayming products as for actual professional products? I hate AMD marketing so much.

>AMD “Rome” EPYC CPUs to Be Fabbed By TSMC
What happened to GloFo?

Glofo is 2Q behind TSMC, they'll do GPUs and APUs, maybe Ryzen too, maybe.

>bought 28000$ worth of shares when it was at 1.8
>sold everything when it got to stable 14$ per share
>with earned money, bought real estate in Japan, a full house
Get on my level, faggots.

>Miners
>AMD's quarterly report clearly states it's EBYN and enterprise/server

That's exactly what it is. GloFo is for GPUs and mainstream/enthusiast segment. TSMC is strictly only enterprise.

>buying shit on earthquake/tsunami weebland
>get on my level
sorry, I don't want to go to the retard level

Should he buy in Shoot Em Up land or sandniggerland?

I bought estate in a calm, high-grounded, rural region. Only a total idiot buys houses/apartments near Tokyo these days.
