Apply for a job in browser development. It's perfect for you.

>using winamp without bento comfiness

Might as well use Audacious if you don't use the best library.

There's not been no new version of Winamp because the developers decided that it's perfect - there's been no new version of Winamp because there are no developers. Development was stopped. Some company bought the website and stuck it back up for download, but it's not in active development. Therefore it's not "still in commission", which is what the thread's about. Start your own 'shitty old software that was never good but you cling onto because you're a dumb boomer' thread if that bothers you.

man it's amazing how upset and worked up people get over old things in tech
are you a brainwashed consumer sheep or do you just feel inadequate?

>never good

Reminder that Winamp was the first player which supported playlists. It was the only sane choice you had in the late 90s.

There's still not a single feature in another music player that would justify me switching.

The llama whipped back

Yes. Plays my FLACs, MP3s, YouTube AAC rips, and MIDIs perfectly fine. Starts up and plays in less than a second on a SSD. Small yet fully functional interface.

I've long switched to foobar since it has tabbed playlists.
