No one know due to blobs in source code. If you don't want botnet use chromium.

yes

no

>Does it really matter?
No, because nobody uses it.

Is it?

Google Chrome collects the following informations:

· mouse usage
· memory usage
· what you say
· what you type
· your passwords
· your search history

Really nobody? Okay here we go: Install gentoo

>Does it really matter?
Do you care if corporations gather and sell your data?

*ungoogled-chromium

Yes, it does matter to me you fucking google apologist. Privacy shouldn't be taken lightly no matter how insignificant you think it is.

That's what I'm asking. Even if you don't use chrome, some other company is collecting your data and selling it. Unless you avoid using the products/services of every single big company, this is happening

Doesn’t it also index all the files on your computer?

*placebo-chromium

Stupidest post I've read in a while.
Of course if you sign into a fucking google account and enable sync it sends your shit to google. Why is this suprising?
Not to mention the """""keylogger""""" is just so the search bar can get the list of suggested terms. You wouldn't call the search bar on google.com a keylogger, so why call this one?

>inb4 google shill
I don't use Chrome.

>t. Google shill

Use Firefox. It’s got identical performance and is FOSS

>Is chrome really botnet?
yes
>Does it really matter?
no

but since i don't like to buy a car with factory welded trunk and a hood, i prefer waterfox

Probably and no

yes, and ungoogled-chromium is the chemo

woah a browser that collects your browser history and saves your passwords?
what's next is it going to read the images you want to see before displaying them?
botnet

I think it has a built in malware scanner now so it does actively scan files. Good for tech illiterates that tend to have malware infected browsers, bad for everyone else.
