You guys shouldn't worry about using RAM. That's what makes programs run better. And your OS knows how to handle it. But if you're real autistic then lowering the process limit does help. You're not going to notice a performance hit unless maybe you have 50+ tabs. In that case raise the process limit. This is where firefox handles multiple tabs better than other browsers. There's more cache settings in about:config too.

It uses more ram but my SSD never gets reduce life now.

I set disk cache to 0 too. To prevent writes on my SSD I also set browser.sessionstore.interval to 0.
